Season 2 predictions based on Story appearances as well as Season 2 story predictions

Sakura - can fight Ryu to train and Karin for Rival fight
Gouken - can fight Ryu for training, Oro and who ever wins takes over mentoring Ryu
Sean - in search of Laura
Oro - fights Karin as she is in search for him, Ryu as he senses his power and is impressed, Gouken and defeats him
C. Viper - fights the shadaloo gang and gets saved by Rashid
Azam - fights Zangief for Rival match
Helen - fights Urien as he tests her skills, fights Charlie when confronting him
Ed - fights Balrog for a friendly match, and some Shadolo members as he escapes from them
3 Dolls - fights Cammy
 
As far as third strike characters go, it seems like Oro and Sean are pretty likely, which is great. Kinda bummed that there aren't any hints for Dudley though.

I have a feeling Capcom might want to prioritise some of the SF3 characters that weren't in 4. I could be wrong but that's the feeling I get with so many cameos and easter eggs relating to the outcast SF3 characters.

I'm sure Dudley will be playable at some point though.

However they could simply set characters like Sean for Street Fighter 6. Ed could be the Bison replacements for Street Fighter 6 if they plan to kill Bison off.
 
So there seems to be a lot of confusion around this apparent season pass deal at Gamestop.

People have been saying you can get the season pass for half off if you preorder the game with Gamestop, and a couple of stores even confirmed it (even one of mine), but apparently it's not true. I just went by my store today, and the message from Capcom that has gotten stores and customers confused is that it says "the season pass will be half off of if you bought the DLC normally".

Apparently that has somehow turned into "the season pass is half off", but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Man Necallis story is fucking weird. Speculation time:

The "warrior prophet" predicted that Necalli would kill and consume the souls of Ryu, Dhalsim and Bison, perhaps making him all powerful. In order to prevent this, He allowed himself to get consumed majin buu style and fuse with necalli, changing his appearance (notice that WP's scars show up on Necalli afterward) to depower him or slow him down. Or maybe that was him trying to stop Necalli and he just failed horribly.
 
Game has no Sagat. No Akuma. And no Fei-Long. Mika and Cammy are shit, and Birdie could've been swapped. No goddamn Sagat. What a travesty.

I just wanted to express those feelings.

Even that isn't true..characters are $6 each making buying them separately $36 ..so unless those costumes are expensive af the season pass only saves you $6

Costumes are $4 a pop and you get 6 of them in the season pass for another $24 saved.
 
It was Maxamilian that got me interested in Q, fuck I hope he makes it in... though I do not know story wise who he'd challenge to make sense?

Don't know much about him.
 
I didn't really follow the whole 'story mode vs characters stories' thing, but... Are these 'stories' supposed to be final until Street Fighter 6? I mean, Cammy's one looks like a simple prologue - didn't watch the other ones - as short and speedy as it comes. Are they all supposed to merge into the upcoming cinematic story mode, and end up there?

Also - as much as I love his work, and even though I liked the first images that got leaked months ago - I must admit Bengus' effort on these illustrations seems terribly discontinuous... The angles and the poses look fantastic, but in some instances the details just aren't there at all.
What a shame, really. Having Bengus to illustrate a SF story mode again, and forcing him to rush out such a low/mid quality job.

Character stories are like origin stories for each character leading into the events of the main plot. The story mode will be the real deal with SFV, Mortal Kombat style.

Q's entire shtick is that he has nothing to do with anything and nobody has any idea what he's about, so you've already learned everything you need to! I guess Cop Chun-li could be investigating him?

I'm with you on this. No Sagat and hell no Blanka is a travesty, hope we get them in the future.

No, the other dolls were all kidnapped girls from around the world.

Cammy was genetically engineered.

They aren't blood related.

EDIT: Forgot about Decapre. I believe Cammy is technically a clone/second version of her. The other dolls are just kidnapped girls, though.
