I'll have tô learn Karin Just because of that laugh. How Hard do you guys say that is? Any easy bnb I can start with?
There are two types of costumes: unlockable ones (the ones from the current "story mode"), and the premium costumes.
Only the premium costumes can't be bought with FM.
Story mode is in June, but what is it we get next month? Arcade mode ? I thought there was some SP content dropping in March with Alex and spectator mode?
24.1 hours to go for us Steam players. So far the reviews were much higher than I expected.

It got pushed up. 12 hours left now
Do we know yet if Ken's alternate costume is just the alpha costume from the training mode that fires the first time you start the game?
If so, damn. He needs a beard. (And hair that doesn't look bananas)
Man... poor Ono looks like he hasn't slept in a week.

Steam launch is now a midnight release...so it's more like 15.1 hours.
you mean 7 hours to go. They changed the unlock time, Steam just hasnt been updated![]()
ugh...at one point I thought they said all content can be unlocked via FM. Hopefully the DLC characters outfits can be purchased separately, cause Im definitely not getting the season pass.
And this is pretty much representative of said wrecking, which does not address the actual observation of it's roots in SFIV.

Fuckin' time travel!
Crunch is a killer. Probably no sleep for several weeks to come, with fixes, rebalance work, and all the DLC for the next 6 months. Don't envy his position.
Lupe Match is like an hour before the unlock thoughTHEY PUSHED UP THE Release AWESOME!
But I had plans to watch the Lupe match

Im glad you mentioned the Vgauge-Blazblue connection as that was the first thing I thought of when it was shown.
What is bnb?c. MP, c. MK/st. MP, Tenko, V-Skill/Tenko/Shoulder/QCB LK/Super is a great mid screen bnb

Bread and butter, basic combos you'll do very often. What is bnb?

Yup that's his story mode alt you unlock... the core cast also has premium costumes on the way- but the only ones we've seen are the pre-order ones.
He does have an alt that is old style from SF2, SF4, etc... looks like he has a ponytail instead of a mullet though.

I'd be all over this game, but I abhor the art style and pandering to the crowd that enjoy virtual boob jiggling and ass shots.Teenagers
Get that banal shit out of my fighting games pls.
Some of the alternative costumes aren't as wankfesty, but most of those are exclusive to preorders and real-life money, right?
At least there's GGXrd, the true sequel to Third Strike
c = Crouching
BNB = Breat and Butter, a reliable combo to use in most situations. Nothing too fancy, going for optimal instead of flashy.

It'll probably be 22 hours until I have my physical edition, or even more than a day ugh.

I think you just mean going for reliable. Optimal damage usually means the most damage you can get out of that particular situation, which includes flashy.
Again, not addressing the actual observation. Nobody said they aren't different.
It was even in one of Ono's interviews sometime months ago, he said development began with SFIV as the starting point. Somebody will ask him again I'm sure.
So if the amount of fight money you earn per fight is right in the Gamespot review it would take a long ass time to get one character for free. You'd basically have to win 2000 matches for a single one. That is assuming the 100k Fight Money per character is correct.
There's story mode costumes and "battle" costumes
Ryu's story costume is Alpha Ryu, his battle costume is Hot Ryu
So far we've only seen battle costumes from Ryu, Chun, Bison and Cammy because they're the preorder bonuses
So we'll probably see the other battle costumes (including Ken's) sometime in March when the store opens up
