Yeah because Xrd doesn't have a ton for f fanservice.

GG Xrd character designs are about a million times more creative about it.

Some are sexy, sure, but overall it's very different from a character like Laura, whose design begins and ends with dude at Capcom going 'You guys like boobies, right???'.

I know it's been said already many times, but what an amazing OT intro! Very well done. Mad props.

At the risk of sounding like a killjoy, I'm not getting the game until the single player story mode is added in June. I get my ass kicked hard whenever I play fighters online and none of my local friends are into fighting games, so the SP mode is a must for me.

That's very reasonable. Sucks that you can't enjoy the launch hype, but hey, you might even pay less for it if you wait.

LOL. With R. Mika it's "You guys like T&A right???"

This is the kind of shit that concerns me. I hate games that are so tied to their own servers that they have the potential of constantly interrupting you and taking you out of the experience. I stopped playing Just Cause 3 because every five minutes I'd be disconnected from the servers and have to sit there for minutes watching a spinning wheel, despite having selected offline mode.

Probably due to Fight Money.

There should be a way to do Survival in offline, but earn no FM, to avoid this scenario.

Late to the party but just saw the updated Steam release time. sogood.gif

Now just have to hope the game's infrastructure doesn't melt down tonight. D:

Is he serious? Not much to do? I guess if you never plan on a) learning any combos or b) learning matchups, then no, there's not much to do. I get why he's complaining, but I still find it hilarious to complain about the single player options in a fighting game. No arcade mode? Very legitimate gripe, but beyond that, I'm not buying it.

Oh crap! I guess it makes sense that you always need to be connected to the server due to all modes allowing you to earn Fight Money for DLC purchases, but that doesn't bode well for day one play at all with how often servers have a tendency to explode the first week of a major game release...

Sitting in training mode is not for everyone

You mean I-NO and Elphelt aren't just walking sets of titties? you could have fooled me... especially with I-NO's winpose is her taking her top off...

You can't be serious , i love GG Xrd but there the same way .

You can actually do all that stuff offline. It just won't credit you with any FM earnings while you are offline (whether it grants them next time you reconnect or you have to do them again while online I don't know).

Sitting in training mode is not for everyone

Neither is just playing the game for trials or story mode. I'm assuming you weren't talking about the obvious matches against humans either. Since that's a given. It's also very strange that he's complaining about the servers when the game isn't even officially live yet is it?

Some people seem to have a very hard time comprehending how most people actually play these games.

Enlighten me please...
Do you mean instantly jumping online and just kind of winging your way through each fight, trying to learn the basic mechanics on the fly? Or do "most people" prefer to just do jumping roundhouse, throw, shoryu repeat?

Is there no way to invite friends to your lobby without having to enter their name? In other words, is there a quicker way to invite folks?

Won't disagree with that. Love Xrd and it's style and honestly I don't really disagree that much with you much on what you're saying about SFV's designs

For what it's worth SFV at least has Karin, and she's not sexualized. Laura brings some level of diversity to the cast so it's not completely generic. Not much else I can really say in it's defense other than that though.

There should be a way to add a player to your "Favorites" list in-game. I would imagine you can invite from that list.

Jam (notable for variety of panties) and Dizzy (an 8 year old with tits) are also going to show up in Revelator.

But I guess his issue is that SF isn't taking the fanservice to new levels like Guilty Gear.

No, not hitting training ever and just fooling around in arcade mode, play through a story if available. Then maybe go online.

Expecting the wider audience to hit training mode and be happy with that is ridiculous.

Just a bit, for this game's standards, at least.

First thing you wanna do is learn how to execute the instant Tenko, especially cancelling from c. MK, st. MP and st. HP, you'll use that a lot.

c. MP, c. MK/st. MP, Tenko, V-Skill/Tenko/Shoulder/QCB LK/Super is a great mid screen bnb

In the corner, you can do two Tenkos and EX QCB P

Thank you, friend. I'll TRY some of those.

Any news on whether DInput is supported in the full PC version? I'd really like to use my PS3 stick on this but decided to get it on PC rather than PS4.

Just because GG follows anime tropes for their fanservice does not make them less fanservicey or "creative". You have everything from cleavage, underboobs, feet, pantyhoses and the list goes on.

Let's not even mention stuff like I-NO or Jack-O winposes.

Not at launch, but supposedly coming via update. You'll want to use some kind of XInput wrapper on PC to use your PS3 stick for now (I used x360ce during beta, I know some other folks used JoyToKey).

The negative reviews and the "rushed" comments in the review thread are annoying me. I guess most of these people were never really too interested in the game to begin with but need to post like they are so concerned.

Online play and local vs is all I need with a good gameplay system in place. Let the other stuff wait.

I'm assuming those work similarly to DS4Windows, and that it's essentially mimicking a 360 controller? If that's the case, then it will work somewhat differently for me. I'm usuing a dual modded board that already has a "360 mode", but I am using a stickless controller, and the cardinal directions work a bit differently in 360 mode compared to PS3 mode. I didn't realize that they were only offering support for the PS4 version at launch either. I already purchased it on PC, but was debating getting it for the PS4 as well. I mostly have no use for PSN, and didn't really feel like paying an additional $50 for the game.

It's obviously rushed, though. Most of the content people want is coming in a month. lol

Thanks. I couldn't get x360ce to work in the recent beta so I'll see if I can give it another shot. If not I'll just use my fight pad in the meantime.

It *was* rushed though. I still like it.

I don't know what DS4Windows looks like, but x360ce is pretty flexible. You could probably get it working with that (if not with your XInput mode then probably the DInput mode). I used it to get my PS3 Hitbox to work with the beta.

I don't know what's creative about shoving panty shots in your face.

Well that's great for you then!?
The game was obviously rushed.
