Are you sure you're putting x360ce in the right folder? I made that mistake with the beta. Can't remember what the right folder is, unfortunately. Possibly the one with the 64-bit exe.

not sure what I did but it seems to be working now. May have been setting some things manually but that doesn't explain why I couldn't press buttons...oh well

I have an Eightarc fusion, how do I get it to work with the game? Not registering.

Do I have to use a third party app mentioned on the last page?

im so salty, all the good names will be taken by the time us people in NA digital owners can play.

It's starting to look like I took the best name.. RMikasButtSlap. I though the servers would reset tonight so I could change my name but that's not looking like time case lol

Even though the character stories are very whatever, I already much, MUCH prefer it to arcade mode. Fighting 3 story based matches for each character is far less tedious than running through an entire Arcade mode for each character just to get a beginning an and ending.

I'm glad they decided to mix it up. Like this desicion.
I 100% agree. Much prefer the sound of this.

I'm grateful for x360ce, but it definitely has its quirks. I've had trouble setting it up several times despite having easily succeeded in the past.

If your goal is just to be done with it, then yeah, this new thing is better.

The people complaining the loudest about lack of traditional arcade mode probably wanted to play it for the sake of playing, though.

I've always just wanted to be done with Arcade mode, so yeah I guess that's me. Don't really get how folks actually enjoy arcade mode, but hey different strokes.

These stories are bite sized enough and contain jusssst enough story to make them far more enjoyable to me.

is there really no way to just add battle friends? why even have the id system if I cant have friends. neither of us can find our battle lounges either. ffs.

Just cancelled my pre order from best buy. It was $84 with tax Canadian. So damn expensive. I just pre-ordered now on psn. Hope it downloads in time for midnight lol

If this were my first SF game, I'd definitely want to use arcade mode to start learning. I'm not naturally a training mode type of person, though I'm going to try to force myself to use it a bit this time around.

Story mode sounds good on paper, but it's pretty awful execution. 4 single round matches against laughable AI. There's really nothing going on there.

The AI is indeed laughable. But then again, hard AIs in fighting games just makes me frustrated and want to cheese them out rather than actually use strategy. Usually ends up being the better option anyway.

But yeah they're practically training dummies lol.

I haven't had this much trouble waiting to play a game in a while. I keep checking the clock every 5 minutes.
I've never done this in my life. I'm still doing things but SFV is constantly on my mind.

I've never wanted a three day weekend to hurry and be over with. This is crazy...

So my SF5 preload on ps4 is only showing 7.324 GB. Is that correct? Thought it was over 12 GB. I just wanna make sure Im ready to throwdown.

Steam version just unlocked a while ago, not impressed at all. Using MadCatz TE2 PS4 with 360ce.

Every time I use the steam chat, it will disable all inputs from keyboard and arcade stick. I'd have to alt tab out and back in the game to regain control.

Sometimes the aspect ratio fucks up on 1080p. It would stretch into what seems like 21:9 with black bars on top and bottom of screen.

Heres trying to fiddle around fixing all the issues until my PS4 digital unlocks..

Which mofo ported this lol?

Anyone able to find any games on PC? Can't find anybody in ranked and can't connect to anybody in Battle Lounge. Might be the VPN causing weird stuff though.

I can't find games on PC either but I'm guessing they either still have to flip a switch, or the servers are already getting hammered into the ground.

I get what you're saying. But if you're a trophy kind of guy, eventually runs of arcade mode become horrible. Especially once the roster got huge in SFIV.

I've recently tried to practice and fake out the AI in SFIV while waiting for matches by stutter stepping while footsies. I felt really silly because I doubt it does anything for the AI. Kind of like talking to a machine in hopes of a human response. You only win against the AI because it allows you to win.

Going to have to catch up on the Daigo and Lupe match tomorrow. It is happening at 4am UK time and I need to be up early tomorrow (to get SFV from the post guy).

Just got my ass kicked by Chun-Li, all is right in the world.

Game runs like a dream on PC, would be better if I wasn't playing with my janky ass wired 360 controller though. Ugh I hate that dpad.

how are you playing the PC version? cracked beta?

There's already user reviews up and I see some people in-game. I guess it launched early. PS4 still says 4 hours.

"Mostly Negative" on Steam, but half the reviews are just pet peeves if you ask me. They didn't make the numpad a hotkey, which is not something I've ever really thought about. I think I saw one person play with a keyboard on the EVO stream, but that was it.

Yup. That's why playing CPUs in SF is the worst. You don't actually mix them up or anything. You're just hitting them because they allow you to hit them.

You learn nothing from fighting AI, except maybe confirming hits.

360cc stick trick worked on beta but not on the final game? Can anyone help? I put it on bin/win64 by the SFV.exe.

nvm, fixed it.

And yet Tool Assisted will still be the top player in the world.
