SF2 was also one of the very first SF games on a console, with many more iterations later, so it's not really a good one to use as a standard.

I don't play arcade mode in SF anymore, so it doesn't affect me, but it really is a fair complaint.

Has anyone mentioned the dogshit loading times? I'm ploughing through story mode for the third time since Thursday to regain my fight money, with my request on (all options open). Loading between scenes is terrible, and In the past thirty minutes (when i started to play) I haven't connected with anyone.

how did you get your chun li outfit? i pre ordered on psn and i never got a key or w/e to download it.
 
Can someone confirm whether or not they can even -see- any active public battle lounges? Everytime I tried to search for one to join I'd just get back that nothing showed up under my search parameters.
 
Oh man, just kicked a dude straight into a bus lol hope the other stages get something cool like that.

Like waterfall sheep/Bird, maybe if you get a KO they walk over and pee on your victim.

Been practicing on stick for like 30 min, played my first ranked as a Cammy against a Necalli and won! Love how defensive the game feels. Had a great moment in the first round where the opponent crush countered me, and I crush countered their followup
 
Man some characters have insane pressure and block strings. I use V-Reversal like all the time now since my main (M.Bison) has relatively few wake up and corner options. But once people start having tech against V Reversal I feel like I will be fuqd.

Make sure you are playing the game on the account you got the pre order i play on a different Eu account and got the game from US psn but the dlc costume is only accessible to the purchasing account.
 
Are "lounges" even working? I get nothing when I search for one. It tells me "unable to find lounges that meet search parameters", but I haven't filtered anything out.

That's exactly where I am, I even spammed the create lounge button to the point where its apparently created one but no one seems to get the invites I send out and no one's joined despite being public. Might have to accept that Battle Lounges are just broken at the moment.

Seems like most of the pre-order costumes are selling for $10+ on eBay. Seems odd considering they'll probably be available for purchase for $4 in a month or so but if you can't wait...that works, I guess.

So let me get this straight. Not being able to create TWO PLAYER LOUNGES after launch day?

Seriously, Capcom? This is beyond embarassing.
 
Kinda hard adjusting and going to a footsie base gameplay. I have been playing sf4 Viper since it was launched on release day when I was a mere teen.
No more cheesy airburn kick shenanigans and superjump ambiguous mix-ups. The lack of mobility hurts and eveything feel slow to me. I feel like a fraud.
 
PS4 users PM CountBlackule to get added to the SF V Community.

At least we should be able to create games through that while the rest of this gets worked out!

you get 160k from the 16 character story modes. Characters will be 100k, so you can easily get 2 characters. The rest, not so easily

Yea, lounges not working for me either on PS4. Everything else has been fairly smooth so far (no DC's for the past few hours.

Hopefully it gets sorted out quick.
 
So I have this pre-ordered for PS4 but I'm thinking of getting it for PC as well. With the Fighter ID stuff, will my DLC/unlocks and things like that persist on both platforms? I don't want to buy it on PC if I have to buy/unlock everything twice. I'm having a hard time finding info on this.
 
So how is the online so far for you peeps? Are you able to play?

I won ranked 3 straight twice and I did not get trophy. Why is that?
