So without Steam Cloud support how does this work on multiple PCs?

If you're able to log into CFN, does your fight money/mode progress carry over?

Yeah, this perhaps more what I meant. Everyone was soooo excited about the launch of this game when everyone should have known that the launch would likely be rough despite having the betas.
 
Typed in my name and realized I spelled it Farenheit as I pressed the okay button. God fucking damn it.

Please god let them make it so you can change your name in the future, even if you have to pay I'll do it. This is going to drive me up a wall.
 
Anyone play at 4k? Menus run in 60fps but game play runs in 30fps. A perfect 30fps that doesn't budge.

If I drop to 1440p I get 60fps again :/ seems more like a bug than a performance issue. Using a 980ti.
 
Asking again for a new page, anyone up for some matches? Creating a Battle Lounge and don't feel like touching single player.
 
I realize there are larger fish to fry right now, but has anyone received their preorder costume codes yet? BB has yet to send them to me.

I actually had lag on that screen somehow and almost included a mistake, maybe that happened to you as well.

I look forward to playing Street Fighter V when Capcom finishes it. And I truly mean that. I enjoyed the bit of it I played last night. But ready for release, this game was not.

Also cannot log in (USA East Coast). Just getting 2100d over and over, hopefully they're resetting the servers.

1. I can log in to the servers
2. That battle lounge's aren't still broken after I can log in to the servers

Then I'd love to.

It basically gives you infinite armor with your V-Skill.

If the servers have trouble again it's probably because the load is too high again. Like 12-4pm my time was perfect, because I assume most Americans were not playing. The load is now probably way higher.
 
Not directly SF related, but since we have a lot of non-standard controller users in this thread I figured I'd ask. Would any USB headset work on PS4? Looking at a cheap mono one (i.e. game audio through speakers, chat through headset) but it's branded for PS3.
 
Wait wait wait.. You're telling me my OFFICIALLY LISCENCED ps4/pc fight stick (which is advertised as working with PC) does not work with the PC version of the game? What kind of bullshit is this?
 
so from that ini tweek thing:

In order for tweaks to the .ini to work, you can copy desired lines from:
\steamapps\common\StreetFighterV\StreetFighterV\Intermediate\Config\CoalescedSourceConfigs\Engine.ini
to:
\Users<username>\AppData\Local\StreetFighterV\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini.
The second Engine.ini is the one which affects your game. Make it "Read Only" after your additions.

I cant find that second directory where the second engine.ini is supposed to be, I have no appdata folder on my users folder. Anyone?

So is there a server reset where they wipe all our saved data coming in like 10 minutes? Or is that no longer a thing since they pushed up the steam release?

There are no more resets. The last reset happened yesterday.

That's what you get if you can unlock stuff with a non premium currency. If that shit would work offline PC players would just cheat.
 
Holy frijoles I am the absolute worst at this game. I've read the guides, I've watched the tutorials, but really, I don't know exactly what the best way to practice is.

How long does it take to get good?

Appdata is a hidden folder. Change that Windows folder settings, or just manualy type in \appdata at the end of your filepath name & hit enter.
 
So all the people who were defending early release because of cpt was it worth it? Tarnishing the games name, bad word of mouth , and future not looking too good for this franchise. Was it worth it to release incomplete game for cpt?

Depends on the person and the training environment. Just focus on one aspect at a time. If you lose to something in one match just work on that for the next couple or in training room.

Either way, it's going to take a while, so if you want to get good be prepared for that. If you want to get better, usually time passes easier though.

Imo a long time, even now I am only average.

Just keep playing. It will come more naturally than you think. Especially in this game.

I'm considering "good" as "comfortable" here. To get GOOD good, it's going to take much longer.
