Story modes and Survival

Dailies aren't up yet. Survival gives some fight money, but you aren't rewarded it unless you are able to make it to the end which gets very difficult when you need to finish 30 or more fights without losing.

Easy Survival nets you 2000 FM, normal 5000

Beating easy survival will also get the character you played with to level 8, effectively getting you 10000 FM

Man, that's low for such a long mode. Does your score change what you earn at all?

Is there some kind of list that shows how much FM you get at each character level?

It's one time per character, per difficulty. If my math is right, you will be able to afford all six of the first DLC characters by playing nothing but survival (easy and normal) and story mode with every character. Like 15 minutes a day on average is what it will take to never spend a dime on DLC characters.

That's without the extra SP content that might award FM or the daily challenges, which absolutely do award FM.

Is there a way to select stage music or character themes when playing online? I'd like to hear the stage BGM but seem to be getting only character themes.

Battle Lounge matches have the BGM music if memory serves, but y'know... It's baffling nonetheless that Capcom doesn't allow players to choose after how post-vanilla SFIV made it standard.

Edit: I was paying so much attention to Ryu that I didn't notice the Sim sweep. Now I understand.

Dhalsim's longer-than-normal reach always had that caveat of being intercepted by invincible attacks, whiff punishes or higher priority moves if you knew how to time it though. These kind of combos occurred in older Street Fighters too.

I should have researched before pre-ordering this; I'm getting the worst case of buyers remorse that I've had in a long time. I'm not a big online player and this game is just so bare bones it isn't funny. No arcade mode, story mode is too short and easy, very weak tutorial mode, no cinematic story mode until June, no challenge mode until March, no local multiplayer modes outside of versus (to be fair, these seem to be a dying breed), servers falling over, etc.... Why the hell did I read nothing to avoid being spoiled for a fighting game?

It looks lovely and plays well, but the whole game reeks of being rushed to market. I'm assuming it was rushed because the first Capcom Pro Tour event is in ten days time.

I don't know what the drag is. Some people with 980's on steam were having problems. I don't get how I went from the beta running perfectly to it running like dog shit.

I'm glad I have a brook adapter for my ps4 or I would be even more livid.

Yeah I think this needs a patch ASAP. Feel like I wasted money on the PC version. Now I'm wondering if I should bother with the ps4 version or wait for these issues to be ironed out. Can't imagine this is by design.

What on earth is going on with the servers in this game. I've got everything set up to accept absolutely ANY fight that may come in, but nothing has actually connected in a good half hour or more. I even went directly to both ranked and casual to see if I could get something going, but all I get is "waiting for your opponent..." without every connecting.

This is just silly.
