Has anyone been able to successfully initiate private lobbies with friends? tried earlier but it didnt want to work with the gaffers I tried with. Taken some break from the game as I got frustrated with the shitty servers.

I have an old xbox360 madcatz TE fight stick that I use on on my PC, it was working fine last time I used it about 3~ months ago. But now the stick inputs seem to be getting stuck. Sometimes when I crouch and go back to neutral the character stays crouching for a moment, and when I move forward or back the character sometimes takes an extra step. It doesn't happen 100% of the time but often enough. I know it's not a problem with SF5, I went back and tested it in SF4 and the same thing happened. Is my stick completely busted? Anyone know if there a way to fix it?

Mine does the same thing and now I'm wondering if it's drivers. Win10?

When I'm looking for casual matches, the map shows a circle and time around Sydney, Australia... which I used for a VPN when I first started playing. I'm not using the VPN anymore and I am in the US. Is SFV trying to match me with people in Australia?

You're stuck with it. SHould have did what it said and picked your own region.

SFV flag if like SFIV means you're in region not supported by PSN, so you're likely gonna get matched with shitty connections unless it matches by IP, which it probably doesn't or it wouldn't ask you to pick a region.

Ya...I gotta say its awesome kinda in a so-bad-its-good sorta way. I love her Mike drop v-skill sound. When you hold it down, any idea what the benefits are if you let her finish her entire speech?

She could kill in one throw in the beta after an entire speech. Longer you hold it the more damage your next throw will do, the buff gets cancelled if you get hit or whiff a throw.

Holy crap. Yeah, I used a Norway VPN but made damn sure to select US as my country for CFN. But it has a circle around The Netherlands. I really hope that isn't affecting my matchmaking. Fuck.

Hm, not getting all that many fights. I'm using the same fight request settings as I did in Beta, but I only get three fights in an hour.

Any platform, 4-5 connection strength, Ranked. That got me a fight every 2-3 minutes in Beta. Now it's every 20 minutes. And for some reason, they're all PS4 players, no one playing on PC in Europe?

Do you think I should drop it to 3-5 connection strength? Already had a pretty laggy match at 4, so... I'm not sure.

Once it's set, it's set, unless there is a server reset as it's tied to your CFN. It doesn't take away from the game as it just gives other people an idea where you're from. Obviously, people can pick whatever flag as well.

Oh ok, I have seen that it's tied to peoples STEAM & I expected it to be the same for PSN, I did wonder if it had an effect if people did a region search for others (from same region) to play with?

There have been a fair few asking about changing flags or can they change if there an update as their flag is currently not on the list.

As mentioned about my main worry is, not getting a game/match if the game selects people's flags/regions to match them up.

I didn't see anything about that when I selected it, I had enough trouble getting the game to connect to the server.

SF5 seems to be using almost exactly the same progression as Blizzard's f2p titles. Give people a ton of stuff early on and for 'milestones', but once that early burst of currency is earned you're gated behind dailies. The actually repeatable sources of fight money are a drip feed at best. I'm expecting them to tune character values around the assumption that people are clearing dailies almost every day.

I'm not sure about the dailies, but the initial rewards are far heavier than the first quests you get in Hearthstone, for example.

If we're to compare a DLC character to a Hearthstone adventure, it would be like if 1/10th of the easily earned rewards in the base game granted you enough gold to buy the entirety of League of Explorers. It's not even close.

Wouldn't try to do any survival modes other than the easy one while logged in tbh.

You can still get the colors when doing it offline, though you wont get FM or Exp

Ah okay, can you guys try on any Windows 7 device or Xbox 360 to confirm it's working. My friend doesn't have a way at the moment to test. I'm almost certain there's something changed in Win8/10 drivers causing the issue and not something with MadCatz hardware itself. Not sure about you but my friends stick is in mint condition (he barely used it before SFV).

The way they offer you health/defense is similarly stupid. I got to 29 at under 40% health and I was offered 20% health or 40% defense. Mega-reads Necalli didn't give a fuck what I picked.

Yeah, the game itself feels smoother, cleaner... better. At least compared to beta.

But the game server is worse than beta 4. Like, by a lot for me, at least.
