Street Fighter V |OT| No Options to Select

I'm hunting a Cammy UK/EU code (in exchange for Ryu) more than actually playing the game.

Also in other news I came home, tried to go online and got stuck in a continuous waiting screen.
 
I understand the "Rise Up" motto now because every time I try to play I get disconnected and stand up and go do something else.
 
Slow load due to online is just like MGSV all over again except here the offline experience is worse off. How or why did they bother with basic modes being online is beyond me. Daft decision.
 
meh no stick. would be more upset if the game was working lol. still annoying to pay for next day delivery and then it not happening.

oh well, back to champions league and then xfiles o/

Are you on PC? Some folks say that's a Steam issue.
 
The colours being tied to this shit mode that I hate is really awful. I wish they just unlocked via doing anything with a given character, as in SF4. God.
 
Servers going down = shutting down your survival mode run

This is absolutely inexcusable. Jesus christ. Not only is this game far from being ready, it's actively broken by design.

launch isnt just the first day. when a launch is fucked, its gonna be fucked for a few days, to expect anything else is crazy

Well you earn FM through these modes which is why they're tied to online. The fact that it completely DCs you back to the main lobby when you DC from the network is the real dumb part avout it.
 
Hmm I was kinda bummed that I wouldn't be getting the stick I ordered from ebay till friday but the fact I'm getting booted from training mode healed that wound lol

I did manage to put a little time in with Karin though and she's super fun

While true, I feel like the fact that it started working for a good while this morning (aside from battle lounge) and then going kaput again points to a bigger problem then launch.

Who knows. Hopefully fixed by tonight.
 
Been playing all afternoon this game is insanely good. Kinda weird playing an SF game that I'm not familiar with but that isn't really the games fault. Been playing a lot of zangief cos I really like his new air throw. I don't really get his V Skill (or many of the characters V Skills). Also playing Ryu to try and learn the game systems and Necalli.

I probably played about 50 matches and I feel like my eyes are gonna roll out, when sfiv launched I played for 8 hours straight, not as young as I used to be haha.

Yeah I've done them on easy which isn't too bad, and honestly the other difficulty levels wouldn't be either if they were just ten matches too with higher level AI. the current structure is clearly just filler and it's awful.

just expect the worse dude. This looks exactly like any botched online game launch. Sometimes it looks a bit better and then boom, back to the shitshow. its always the same.
 
At this point if they had the store up and running I'd just buy whatever costumes they had because no way am I fucking about in Survival for colours.

Do they use the map (IP address location) to set the players location or the flag?

I made the mistake of selecting the SFV flag instead of the UK flag, the map shows me in the UK, but I am worried that they will use the flag for matchmaking.

I cannot get any games at the moment, but I have put this down to the server issues.

The best thing Capcom can do imo is wipe all the data & start again with this, I know about first day screw ups, but this is becoming one of the worst so far.
 
Damnit got a fight and it even started but after 10sec got disconnected. At least the match wasn't laggy at all so yey?

Nice to see everyone is as annoyed as me regarding the colours/survival situation. No wonder CAPCOM were so coy with details pre-release and were all smoke and mirrors with what we were actually 'getting'. They really need to sort out these server issues and make it easier to get the colours (NOT by using fight money/real money...)

I was in the middle of training and got kicked off the server like??? Why? I was taken back to the main menu and had fight request turned off. When I'm offline I can't earn any fight money either I'm guessing, is it even worth doing anything unless I'm connected to the internet? This system is so confusing and internet-reliant. :/
