I hate losing to people whose character level is 0 and player level is 0 and yet they know how to play so much better. Makes me feel like such trash.

Pretty much how all 2d fighting games work. It gives more freedom for experimentation...although in this game not so much

Haha, is totally the opposite for me, I feel is too static compared to tekken. But time will tell, this is the first time with SF in which Im really trying to give it a go.

Saty playing? He used to wreck me with his Sim in 4. He digging this version of him? Nice comeback, btw.

Yeah he wound up winning our set, Saty is really good at adapting. That said, Necalli is my character for Sim for sure. I keep learning new stuff.

Necalli's corner pressure is so godlike.

Spamming lightpunch +R. Medium punch like I did in the video I posted earlier is too stronk.

Few people know how to answer, and even then it's cake to take them down.

Kinda missing my zoning/mind game Rashid though :\

Keep Rashid OP pl0x

No kidding. Things should get easier in lowest tower in a few days as people like that move up leagues. Hopefully.

I feel like I'm matched against people who are SO much better than me... Why do I stink :'(

You and me both. I just try to focus on the positives. Yesterday, I got matched against a player ranked ~11,000 (I was ranked ~32,000) and I came pretty close to winning the second round. Might not seem like much, but at least I put up a fight.

Yea. I really don't like this game. Too slow, none of the characters interest me, just not my kind of game.

You created such a good OT... I'm shocked you don't like the game..

Heads up to those considering the SFV eGuide by Prima, you can use a code to get 25% off. (SAVE25)

I'm considering going in on this. Any word on it so far?

Thanks, I'll buy it to check it out. Even if most of the information can probably be found on the net for free I do enjoy the presentation of the Prima guides. It stays updated for the whole year at least.

Just played against somebody with horrible connection and it was literally impossible to play.

I did 3-5 for the network settings but it still shit. Only my 2nd ranked match, but I had to force quit because I couldn't stand it.

Should I be doing 4-5 only?

I think something is wrong with that filter. I used it and was getting laggy as fuck matches but when I just selected "any", I've gotten great matches all day besides one.

Gonna try it out now.

I guess I'm glad that you can quit in ranked matches because that was one of the worst online experiences I've had in like 5 years (I don't play many online games though, to be fair.)

Watching a bit of teamsp00ky on twitch and players are at their own monitors. Does anyone know if they're splitting the signal or does SFV have LAN play or support two monitors? No way they would be playing through CFN right?

damn, looked at that bafael chun-li video and now I see how I should be playing.

I had no clue you could link lk legs into lp punch.. it's amazing

1) Saty on blast.
2) Finished the 30 survival with Chun, was pretty easy and got a nice red yellow color for the dlc outfit. So cool.
3) Reached 1000. Lost only twice. Will keep playing tomorrow.
4) Netcode has surprised me. I am searching 3 to 5 bars and so far I've gotten only very few problems... Maybe a random teleport here and there sometimes, but usually spot on.

Loving the game so far. Not sure if it beats SFIV for me (I got so hooked with that game I own like 6 copies). Will determine after spending some hundred hours :p

I'm sure they're splitting the signal. No way they'd play over CFN.

I'm glad the game is a little slow, I ain't getting any younger

Love that crouching fierce punch > jab link on Dhalsim, shame I'm barely able to ever land a jab flame after it

Finally getting some matches in with sexy chun-li. Net code seems good. Matchmaking time seems longer than I'd like. Getting bodied like crazy.

I gotta say, I really love the fact that only supers can win with chip damage now. I've had some really intense moments with having the opponent at 1 health and desperately trying to get that one last light hit in.

Best part is the shocked and desperate Dhalsim throwing out a feeble little arm as a last ditch effort to survive.
