Street Fighter V |OT| No Options to Select

Matchmaking seems pretty dead right now. Was getting a bunch of matches a little bit ago but now nothing.

edit: I'm dumb. Wasn't even searching... That's what I get for being alt tabbed.
 
Anyone know if a Mika can punish Bison after he does his combo where he finishes it with that purple stuff shooting up from the ground? Frustrating when I can't just do my full combo's like that, but they get away with it
 
I feel I should get a title for eating my losses and not quitting to increase my rank and streak. If I'll never get out of rookie rank then so be it.
 
8 player lobbies and spectator in march right?

when they cant get 2 player lobbies working for a lot of people.... yeah :/

fuck I dont want to turn into a sarcastic asshole with this game but its getting hard >_<

They were working great the past few days. Is it broken now?

It's called Inferno, and at least the medium/heavy ones are definitely punishable. Will need to check up on the light version though I think there is a small window for punishing so medium/light normals into specials are the way to go. Maybe even an EX peach.
 
Ah, was able to finish normal Survival with Ryu without the server crapping out on me. Time to watch this week's WNF replay as I missed it.

no, they were working great for you (and a lot of people). They never worked for me and tons others. Seems it mostly works fine in the states, and the other countries are hit and miss

"For all of you that ate having trouble with matchmaking, try making a dummy PSN account/ steam account and playing the game with that. A friend of mine says he's gotten a lot more matches since he did this."
 
I'm really feeling Ryu now, he feels really good in this game.
Hot Ryu helps a lot.

After I'm comfortable with him I'm going to try and pick up Karin as well :)
 
As a Gief main I'm getting sick of all these Ryu's. I miss Green Hand so much and Lariat isn't nearly as good as it was in SF4. Been having the hardest time adapting.

Use your V-Skill. It's no Green Hand but it's pretty damn good. And don't just sit on your V-Trigger "waiting for the right time". Let that shit rip to scare the opponent.

I used to think Zangief wasn't that great in this version but after seeing the performance Snake eyes put on at WNF, I am thoroughly convinced Zangief is a damn good character. Just different from his SF4 days.

EDIT:
Also his Headbutt (F.HP) cancels regular fireballs on impact.

Try calling them if you can. I've only tried it once but the person I got was courteous, got me my stuff (which I didn't think was possible), and gave me a free credit.

...what? how would that even work? Like maybe with a disc on PS4 sure, but how would that even work on steam?

V Skill and headbutt his fireballs to work towards trigger while walking him into the corner. From there you can body him with HP, MK, etc. and try to bait a DP to crush counter.

There actually isn't a 10 in a row this time, just a 3 peat. You might be looking at defeat 10 stronger opponents, but that's over time and just based off LP afaik.
 
OK I have gave it 4 days but I'm yet to get a single ranked match, is this normal? I have a open Nat type 2 and a really good connection 70megs down 2.5 meg up

Only battle lounge is working just barely, waiting for sf5 for awhile only to be let down with these connectivity issue

Can anyone help?

Lobby works fine for me and I'm Aus, however ranked and causal I can't get a match at all.

theres no fix dude, its just like that. You have to wait it out until Capcom improves it
 
I cant get into the games servers now, i see nothing about server maintance. WTF!

edit: Okay now it worked after trying a 4 times.

Anyone up for battles? storafotter username. I would appreciate if there is any Cammy player or someone who can play several characters. Kinda tired of all the Ryus.
 
Fuck. I love this game. There are so many characters I want to learn how to play too, and it's kinda nuts that I'm enjoying this many right out of the gate. I can see myself wanting to sink some serious time into learning how to play Chun, Rashid, Laura, and Ken.\

Playing high as fuck and just pressing buttons all day with Rashid last night was so stupidly fun. Hahahaha. I WON FIFTEEN MATCHES IN A ROW BEFORE IT STARTED TAKING 5 OR SO MINUTES TO FIND A MATCH.

I think my player level just increased for no reason but I'm not sure was level 25/26 earlier today and now it's 50 I did do necalli and fang story and easy survival for both and maybe a few games online can't remember how many but I can't imagine it boosting it that much but I'm not sure. The weird thing is it seemed to get to level 50 or at least the notification while I was in training mode as fang
Does 1 character level up equal 1 level up to player level? That's the only thing I can think of, if it is that then it was probably just a delayed notification
