I wish it could, i'm down 3k FM from Ryu levelling up in story mode because the servers fucked up, I want that reimbursed but Capcom havent said anything about this yet

Agreed, this seems like it should be trivial. Then again I feel like I've said that about a handful of things regarding this game in the span of a week. At least it plays well.

Just watching Birdie from when he was announced I thought I would hate him, and he has become my surprise favorite gameplay wise. I've been been a grappler player but I am really taking a shine to him. Maybe it's just because he has more range than most grapplers do.

have yet to play an online match.

Let me see if steam refund still applicable

edit: This game in combination with steam support, my goodness. Prob best to consider this a lost $60 and move on to something worth my time
 
Well, damnit.

It's Saturday, and I was hoping to revisit this thread, seeing swarms of "servers are good to go now!".. but, alas, still sounds like a shitshow.

Why do I get the feeling that SF5 is never going to have stable servers, then, when SF6 comes out, everyone is going to recollect on the server woes that "never did quite resolve themselves" from SF5.

Sigh.

Nothing wrong with blocking. A lot of people are button happy motherfuckers.

I just hate how so much is dependent on online. I get the servers getting hammered and having some issues, especially during the first week or so, but the only thing that should kick you out of a game when the servers go down is when you are fighting online. That's it. Making other modes dependent on constant online connection is just shitty design. Like, I was just trying out survival mode on easy when it booted me. I can only imagine how much more frustrating it would be for people trying to beat Survival on the harder modes.

Wow, that is unlucky. Servers have been working whenever I wanted to play and stop working when I take a break.
 
I try to main Laura and I think she's a lot fun.

You can V-dash out of a c.MK, then either do a V-attack or dash back in. EX-command throw after LP bolt charge is blocked seems to work.

Her HP bolt charge seems to be nerfed, I remember you could use it after a c.HP in the early beta. Now, it works after thunder clap in V-trigger mode (I can't get it to connect with EX-thunderclap, I use c.HK as an ender instead), or after f+HP,HP. EX-bolt charge goes through fireballs?

I also like to try crossups with pressure from her projectile with j.MK, then target combo (MP,MK), V-trigger, HP, EX Thunderclap, HP Bolt Charge.

She might be a bit limited (not sure yet, but I felt the likes of Nash have more options) but her damage is pretty decent. I don't think she's a Dan. I like both her and Nash the most.
 
I hope they accept my refund request. I have "3 hours of playtime" just from trying to find a SINGLE match LOL. I'll pick up this garbage when it's $20 and if people are still playing. I'm out of the scene for now PCE \/

Not sure if they beat normal throws but you don't need to feel like you have to be doing command throws. I mostly play footsies until I think they aren't expecting a command throw. Look how Snake played Zangief in SF4, the die was a footsy god and would land the occasional command grab because people weren't expecting it.

It's really weird. Why these things are constantly breaking and happening without them being permanently fixed for everyone is really bizarre.

They should ban them not for being a nightmare, but for quite blatantly exploiting the servers (and then they should fix those security holes. Seriously). Their shenanigans during the beta were crazy, involving taking over Infiltration's CNF name and other fun stuff.

What would Durante do? It's a server issue.
The PC port is pretty great outside of a few issues like PS4 sticks not being immediately compatible.

Isn't the tool assisted person using macros? How the hell would that involve a security hole, lol

They should probably ban them for being so blatant though
 
Thank god I got Ryu's Hard costumes before I was kicked out, sheesh. Planned on doing some casuals to mess around a bit but I guess I'll take a nap.
