Just started playing this on PC and am completely hooked. I could never get into traditional point and click MOBAs but Smite is a lot of fun for me.
I also appreciate how very generous they are with the F2P model. I have 14 hours in and have never felt the need to spend a dime. Considering getting the god pack just to show support but it's really not needed to have fun.

I got a NA alpha code for Smite and to make this interesting I'm gonna ask a question about gods. So the question is, and it's an easy one, "Who is the Greek god of war?" First person to pm me the answer gets the key.

So I'm thinking about transfering my PC account ... I've been playing since the PC beta way back when and have some very rare limited skins. I'm wondering though if the console version communities will last.
My Smite account has hundreds of dollars worth of skins. Not sure if it's worth it to risk a transfer. That aside, I'm not even sure I'd like playing Smite on a console after years of PC play. My gaming PC though is back in Toronto since I moved to Alberta and I'll be PC-less until October. I've been really missing Smite, so this is a big opportunity to get back to my all time favorite MOBA.
Got my alpha keys so I'll be downloading and giving it a try for sure. Will be interesting to see how it plays with a DS4. I hope it's easy to initiate voice chat ... half the fun on PC is the V chat system.

Graphics are a bit harsh, but I guess that's the thing to lose when you want a lag-free game.
I've always wanted to play this, but my PC isn't that good anymore, so I'm glad to get to play it now.
Fooled around a bit last night. We only played some co-op against the AI. Sometimes the AI is very evil.

From what I can tell is it makes a copy of your pc account don't think you lose it

On XB1 you just copy your account over. It brings your skins, voicepacks and any other cosmetic things you own (along with god pack), that's it. It doesn't take them away from your PC account, just copies it.
