There is anime, although now that I think about it I don't think my description is the best. If anything it's about trouble/lower rank students finding what they are good at of finding some hope in a future. The main bond is a teacher/students relationship, while some character connections here and there.

Nothing wrong with a slice of life anime. Hopefully I can get to that at some point, next stop is HxH after this though. Either that or I'll finish up Fate Stay Night.

I think Sakura was a normal 9 year old girl(whatever their ages were in part one idk) tbh, she couldn't relate to their struggles because she had a relatively normal life. When there's a kid in class whose being ostracised by everyone for whatever reason, all the other kids tend to join in and do it. It's not "right" but it's what happens. Coupled with the fact that Sasuke was seen as the most popular boy in school having to be around him would make Naruto look even worse.

Just because you don't like the way a character was developed it doesn't mean there was no development.

Naruto saved Gaara. She was just there as support, we get that she's the lead female and is included in most of the missions.


When did she save hinata? Other than using basic medical ninjutsu to revive her after fighting pain I don't recall. And its not like that was a particularly meaningful scene as Nagato was about to revive everyone with Rinne Tensei anyway...

Most of Sakuras scenes and plots involve either needing help from Naruto or chasing after Sasuke.


Hinata fought a huge personal rival in Neji long ago in Part 1. That had nothing to do with Naruto.
