We don't know 100% and won't until Alex is out most likely, but I bought the US PSN version to use on my EU account and I can't use the Chun Li outfit on that account. However, I did buy a Hot Ryu EU costume code while they were cheap, redeemed it on my EU account and it works so everything seems account locked rather than the usual region lock.
My bet is that you'd want the EU season pass for your EU account even if it is the US game, but it's best to wait until someone has tested this, unless you don't mind being the guinea pig
Ah, nice, tanks for the input, it was that way with R6 Siege for me, i did learn that the hard way, i bought it on HKpsn, and the seasonpass didn´t work, but then i bought the seasonpass on my euaccount and that worked! So R6 was an expensive story for me, maybe its time to start buying everything on the eupsn...
Please send me a pm in the future if you can confirm that it works with usgame/euseasonpass, its sure sounds like that after what you wrote about the costume.

Are you filtering the connection? Set it to 5 or 4-5 connections only and it seems to speed mine up.
Judging by playing Fire Emblem between fights, and can't even finish a turn without a new one coming my way.

Yeah I have mine set to 4-5 only. Hopefully it improves soon. It wouldn't be so bad but the fights are over with very fast

Of all the matchups I struggle with as Rashid, it's Ryu and Ken.
The DP is such a great answer to many of Rashid's approaches. I can be ambiguous and aggressive, but if they DP it, then that basically shuts me down. It's giving me quite a hard time lately.
The problem is, that Rashid's light hit confirms don't amount to much. So if they guess correctly even 1/2 of the time then they have a net damage gain, on me. My light confirms do 100 damage, Ryu's EX DP does something like 160. My medium confirms do something like 210 damage, but the they don't start low, they're not ambiguous, and if employed as a block string they can mash DP to escape and hit me.
What do I do? Even if I bait them out it feels as though I need to do so much work to earn the damage.

1.7k was my peak, on a downturn now as people are getting used to the game.

As a Mika player, that match-up currently feels like her easiest win by a mile.
It's even worse when she knows how to beat out your buttons on the approach.

Yeah you're right, they're mostly lame. Mika's last 4 look pretty sweet. For most of the characters the colours don't do much. Laura's effect her make up and skin tone though. Vega's hair colour changes so his are worth checking out. Same with Necalli and Birdie. Birdie's colour variations are probably the best ones. Karin's are awful.

1000LP for me too. 1100LP is probably my highest and haven't been under 900LP for a while now. My fundamentals seems to be fine but I really need to practice on punishing with something better than sweeps or throws.

Got to 1520 or something yesterday (started at 800ish). Ultra Bronze, yay! Got there using Rashid, Karin, Necalli and Ken.
I expect today I will be matched with players who realize I don't belong in the 1000+ club and will knock me down to 600 where I belong

Honestly? I probably struggle against solid Ryus more than anything else. He feels like a brick wall that's impossible to tear down.
I dunno if it's just my play style or what, but in most other matches I can usually identify some kind of weakness to exploit.
I think the key to beating Mika is either keeping her out (her buttons aren't amazing at mid-range, which limits the ways she can approach) or just applying the pressure first (Cammy and Chun have fast jabs and I'm pretty sure they can get real stuff off of them, and with characters like Bison or Necalli you can just put her in frame trap city if you get her to block).
Characters with meterless invincible reversals are the ones that give me the most pause. I usually just go ham on their knockdown until they demonstrate that they're willing to risk a wake-up SRK or something, then adjust from there. For characters that have to burn meter for reversals (Karin), I usually don't mind it when they do it because I'm at least forcing them to burn resources.
I'm really not liking the distribution of points in the LP system. I hit Gold back on Saturday or so. Okay, so I play a guy who is Silver and I win. I get between 35-50 points from him. BUT if a dude who is Silver beats me, he gets between 100-135 points.
Granted, it really doesn't matter that much at the end of the day. But if you lose to another Gold you don't lose that many points. Usually around 50. I don't get why Silver gets so many points from you.

There is still slow matchmaking and people can still ragequit so nothing important..
Somewhere between 1000 and 1400 is where I am. I've such bad match-up knowledge right now that going random kills me, but I can live with it. Learning new punishes and data every day right now.
You lost to a worse player, so you lose more. It's a self correcting system to move people to their "true" rank faster.

I don't agree with that. Yeah, you should lose more points but not 100 or more. How are you supposed to level up when one or two random dudes can undo all of your work?
Not to mention the ragequits you have to deal with and you don't get points from that. Plus the times when the server craps out and -again- you don't get points. All this does is encourage not to play Ranked until at least they add a fix for the ragequitters.

The problem is with this and other connection numbers in other games is that it's a 4 when the connection is established, but it might only be for that second. Especially if they're on WiFi as it might be up and down all over the place.

I would also have the silver-blue Necalli, if not for the fact that just doing 30 rounds of "normal" survival was boring enough ..
I don't think that Ryu is a bad choice, it's just that he is also very popular, especially among beginners (for good reason), so everyone gets a lot of practice against him. Something like 25% of my ranked matches are against Ryu.
It's a ranking system, not an XP mechanic. You can get 100 points from others as well. We don't even really know if 100 points is a lot yet, people are above 7000 already.
