I was there at the beginning and got the dreaded "Limited Run #2: Saturday Morning RPG (PS4) - Sold out" message the second I went to checkout and couldn't get rid of it until they were gone.

Are we sure that's actually a bug and not just the actual stock? Probably tons of people who are currently in the checkout process, which means the copy isn't available, but not reflected as sold on the site.

I bought a PS4 copy as soon as it got up without an issue, a little bit later I added a new one to the cart just to check, the store page said something like "10 left", but the cart said sold out.

It doesn't seem like an error to me.

Thanks so much limited run games! Helped make my weekend so much better! I can't wait to order from y'all again, especially when Cosmic Star Heroine comes out!

I'm so glad I didn't pick a reseller! I also picked a lot of other random countries to spread it out. Some were in the USA however, so don't fear!

I'll comment on shopify stuff once I'm done reviewing these orders.

I think it's some kind of bug or error. The first go-around with these, I was ready to pounce the moment it went live. Everything I put in my cart resulted in a message that they were all sold out. People were confirming buys long after I gave up, but no matter what I did the PS4 version was "out of stock". The second go-around it was fine for me, but not others.

I was using Chrome at the time, but I think I tried Safari and Firefox as well.

Nice, was able to grab a Vita copy! I was a bit worried when they changed the date of the cancellation copies going up because that would mean I would be at work when they went up. Thanks to my tablet I was able to run my cash register and shop at the same time!

I'm new to vita, within the past couple weeks. It's a lot of fun to collect for.

Yeah, 1,500 printed. Ebay exclusive now.

This is a different situation than Summon Night, which I also ordered. Long delays are to be expected when you do business with Vic. But if you were reading post after post for two weeks about other members receiving their Summon Night orders or shipping confirmations and you received neither, I bet you'd be frustrated too.

Vic was pretty responsive in the SN5 thread for a while, but he's been having issues with late bugs and insisting on releasing a patched version of the UMD(which I respect).

My copy was waiting for me when I got back from my trip. No extra game but everything was in great shape. I'll definitely be trying to get CSH when it comes up, and maybe a few others.

I think this is an awesome endeavor on the part of Limited Run Games. Also, since you guys are in this thread, please get in touch with the people making EITR! I would love a physical version of that when it releases!

Only just found out about these guys when I saw the thread the other day, check on ebay and there are people selling copies of the game for twice and even 3 times the original price. Good to see the eBay scalpers got in on this >.<

Scalper mentality isn't something new, it's been around for ages, though they used to stick to things like concert tickets and baseball cards and whatnot. When those people started to realize that videogames were collectable + limited runs = good money, they came into our hobby and it's becoming a serious problem.

Thankfully, the guys here put some mechanisms to stop scalpers from buying 20 of one of these games and flip them over a month period, which is their usual way of doing things, so at least recent and future prints won't be too bad. If they buy one game and sell it, it doesn't cause much issues to the other people buying it on release. The problem is when they get a truck of them when there are no limits imposed.

Haha don't worry about that. There are things in place now that should allow us to get everything out in 1 week. I learned a lot and created some new processes to make it go faster. Our FAQ has some of that listed. But yes there will be some months with two releases.

Maybe we have some RPGs? Maybe just one? Who knows...
