In Reach, they had a few Anniversary gametypes that tweaked the Pistol's damage model to be in line with the Halo CE pistol, but this is a complete port of the weapon from the original game, with the same graphics and sound.

They added the H2 BR into the new Arena map from last month, Riptide. CE pistol could be on the new map as well.

The way they phrased it just now, it seems like the CE Pistol is going to be Warzone only, which means that none of us are ever going to see it and you only get to use it a few times. What a waste.

The Halo 2 BR is in Arena, as is the Classic Rocket Launcher. They're counted as completely separate weapons, and it's possible that the Halo 1 Pistol is still like that as well, but they specifically said "I can't wait to use this in Warzone"
