I kind of wondered initially if the Asscreed art was a photobash sourced from the same image as the Uncharted one, but it doesn't seem like it. Hrmm.
Incredible that this can even happen. Its not like ND don't have extremely good artists of their own.
Time to boycott ND. Stealing again? Smh first they rip off tomba raider and Indian Jones and they move on to Ellen Page, Kandyse McClure, and finally Ubi. Now they done go copying my boy Dennis darko. ND culture us out of hand.

New and improved
People actually acting like they give a shit is whats hilarious
This is getting in U3 review thread insanity levels, but better because we have ND fanboys and ND haters mixed.
Thats my DBSM.. lolFor the sake of pedantry it's Doc Brown spider monster, unless you misspelled or typed purposefully

It's always easy to make predictions like these.
And I doubt they're ever true either.
Im sort of kidding.
Reposting from the other thread.
Jonathan Cooper is an ex-ubisoft animator. He joined Naughty Dog and said some stuff about his previous employer when the female assassins thingy came to light.

Now with this news, an Ubisoft Montreal dev (creative director) tweeted this to him

He waited two years... all for revenge.
He even removed the pirate for good measure. It's almost about as clear cut plagarism as you can possibly have.
I tried my best OK

lol, I almost spit out my water. If this situation was reversed everyone except Crossing Eden would be ripping Ubi a new one.
Nah, clearly just an accident. It's ND and Sony, don't you dare call it for what it is!
Come on now. Let's not act like people don't treat studios like ND and CDPR just a tiny bit better than they do Ubi.
Assassin's Creed downgraded "oh my god how dare they"
Witcher 3 downgraded "hardware limitations guys"
Can't see shit, capp'in

This.
loooolA lot of fuss over a stupid picture. I don't think people know how the art process work. Imitation and style plays into it. And let's remember that sometimes maybe artists don't realize that their art is actually resembles some on in real life. Like the doctor in MGSV.
Exposure doesn't even make sense since there's no reference that it's from AC.Being that an Ubi rep tweeted it, I would say there is a very slim chance of it being OK. lol Anyway, no way any company is going to let another game use their artwork. "Exposure" as someone called it, is not a good thing. Getting paid money is a good thing. Exposure is a bullshit ploy to get shit for free.
Has no one replaced the picture with Crash Bandicoot?
Come on internet, you're slacking.
I highly doubt they got permission for one jpg. It's obviously a lazy dude who thought he could slip this by people.
Well he slipped it by ND but obviously not the internet.
In fact I don't give a damn about the "theft". Big companies stealing amongst them, big deal.
However the way people here so easily accept the fact or outright deny the theft... man, I thought we were a little above this.
If Nintendo or Retro fuck up I don't go parading how good they are or how it must be a coincidence.
Exposure doesn't even make sense since there's no indication that it's from AC.
Can you imagine if this was 343i?
I would love to have a window to a parallel universe where Ubisoft were the ones that ripped off some random art from an Uncharted game. It would be like "opposite day".
Thats my DBSM.. lol
That was a fun 30 minutes
Lol. Can you go deeper?
