Doing pretty good, thanks. I had a really nasty -- and, as it turns out, dangerous infection -- I've recovered but I feel like it took a bite out of me and I'm still waiting for the bite to grow back.

This was what happened to me when I went to the doctor when I was sick, basically

Playing Oxenfree on the couch right now. It's interesting. I have thoughts.

What even caused it in the first place, stress? Cause that damn near sucks, man D:

Haha I saw that image before!

Yeah it's on my list of "games to get when I get sweet $$$" thanks to Lilith's recommendation of it, how's it so far?

good morning fakegaf :3

If I'm worth a damn I'll get this research paper written at work today so I can party this weekend.

but knowing me I'll actually work :/

Oh boy that sad ad thread got me all teary late at this night

That's why I've been saving up to buy my new vehicle when my daughter is born.

honestly not sure exactly. it's perhaps in part related to surgery incisions from last year.

oxenfree is good. my main criticism was that when you need to navigate to an area it's frustrating waiting for your people to slowly walk along the path. Sometimes you run, which is nice, but mostly you walk and you don't have a choice.

are there any games where walking isn't frustratingly slow?

First that comes to mind is the sherlock holmes games but that even gets questionable in larger areas

I don't often play adventure type games, so I'm not sure. I imagine that's the case. I only played this one because Lili said something about it being GOTY material which sparked my curiosity.

I also have Life is Strange which I plan to play at some point. Hopefully it doesn't have that problem..?

I've never had a paid massage. I do like sitting in those massage chairs though. They give the best happy endings.

Well I lack a girlfriend at the moment so it's my only option. One of my friends was going through massage therapy class awhile back and I would get massages from her. She's graduated though and would be speedy now.

Oooh now I want a massage too

Massage 4 massage?

tbf I mean in all games but adventure games are most likely to be slow enough to allow for it

Life is strange isn't bad. they let you do a half jog which pretty much solves it. doesn't look nearly as ridiculous as you sprinting in peoples houses in other games

oh. well whatever annoyingness the average game has with walk speed being too slow, amplify that three times over for Oxenfree. Other than that I had no real complaints. Sometimes the dialog steps on itself a bit as you try to carry conversations as you do other things, but that's a relatively minor gripe.

hi trabby! how's the internship going?

I've been going on long emo music walks the past few days. I walked by a dead dog at the intersection and it ruined the song that was playing.

good! but I'm very busy..basically just waking up, going to work, going to bed. etc.
but I like it so far :) (still haven't gotten to put up the secret thing but I didn't trick you, it will be up soon) :D

which bands? and what..a dead dog was just lying there? :( that's terrible

Penfold (been listening to them a lot since you reminded me they exist), The Promise Ring, Sunny Day.

I found a dead dog, had a collar on, looked like somebody's pet. He was kinda in the intersection a bit so I dragged him onto the sidewalk. I said "sorry pal" and moved along. I came back later to see if he was still there and I was gonna call the city -- But he was gone.

Saturday by Promise RIng was playing when I found him now the song reminds me of the sad dog, which I guess is fitting for an emo song

Sorry about that downer. I think I need some chocolate whiskey. :)

these are all hella good choices. also glad I put Penfold back on your list. for some reason all I had in my head today was this
but I also secretly put on Taylor in the office today
I'll have a drink in your honor.

Work that pole Float. I know you can shake it.

I was relentless in wanting roller skates when I was a kid. My mom broke down and got me some. I proceeded to skate down a flight of stairs and break my wrist.

I played tony hawks pro skater and thought I could skate like a god
never could do an ollie , allllllll helllllllll cant stoppp us nowwwwww

tony hawks pro skater 2 best game B^)

I'm bored. Nothing on the internet is holding my interest and certainly work isn't.

I hate being in that weird floating zone where I don't have something "hooked" into me. No show, sports, movie, podcast, book etc.

I need INPUT.

Watched a movie called DOPE on Netflix last night. It was pretty good. Kinda cheesy, but had a good twist and underneath was putting across a good message.

I thought the same thing. Well, maybe there was one or two ollies in all of several hundred (if not multiple thousand tries).

My younger brother can skate pretty well, normally, except he broke his arm mounting the curb last night. So now he's going to be in a cast the next five weeks and we're going to have to coordinate to help him get around and stuff. What makes it kind of funny is his name's Oliver and most people call him Ollie, so I'm sure that's going to be driven into the ground pretty soon.
