Don't suppose this gif is fitting enough?

Thanks. Good Vega. To answer your question, I'd transition from Claw on to Claw off depending on the positioning and tendencies of your Nash opponent.

Played another after you and won. Saved meter for jump ins to do ex off the wall. Kept claw on to poke away, then on knock down took it off for izuana drop set ups.

He was more scared to hit buttons though compared to your Nash.

So I've noticed the following network behavior on my end:

1) At first, player stats (league, LP, win streak, player/character level, etc.) are showing up correctly.
2) Then I eventually run into a ragequitter.
3) After this, those stats no longer show up correctly.
4) If I close and restart the game, they start showing up like normal again.

Anyone else notice the same?

Also, I'm not sure if it's just coincidence, but I seem to get better quality connections when all this shit is working.

These rage quitters are annoying. What kind of a low life disconnects so he doesn't lose artificial points in a damn video game. That is sad on so many levels.

Okay this BS is getting to the next level. At least let me finish my combo before RQing! For fuck's sake at least let us finish the first fucking round!

Man, the people who are on the verge of making it to the next league are the worst. The guy was so afraid of losing his precious LP that he didn't even finish the first round, smh.

Terrible day today with Karin. Just keep on going back to her, but Fei Long she is not. Even he had some range in his low days. Perseverance I suppose...

Ah, there we go. The game stopped matching me up with Rookies and Bronzes and now I've got some competition (and a 4 game losing streak, haha).

She giveth and she taketh away.

I've never understood why people are so into playing ranked. First to X are better indicators of skill and better for learning. And obviously a lot less likely to have rage quitters.

Here's your handy quoteboard for whenever GootecksShimmy opens his mouth again:

Amazing. I'm all for a wall of shame in the OP. RQing for trophies is already pathetic, but trying to play it off unapologetically after getting called out is on another level.

I like single-game matches just as much as I like ft10s.

I feel like I'm pretty slow to adapt in general and having just a single game to work with forces me to get used to thinking faster.

I would, but I constantly get the `cannot join the battle lounge because it no longer exists" error.

I'm still waiting a lot for matches, but it's because I'm still in Rookie. Kind of a no man's land, sadly.

Still get 0 FM for losing in Ranked...which I don't get.

I should definitely join more lobbies, I've been getting hyper salty the past couple of days trying to play grapplers in ranked without even knowing my opponents' blockstrings properly.

In many games there's no real difference between ranked and casual modes so you might as well play ranked.

I watched a few of your replays, I'm impressed with your reactions with EX Wingless. Good stuff.

Really? I even called myself out along with names.

You need an apology? Like you specifically? I did something to YOU. When?

GAF I'm sorry I rage quit 5 times for a dumb trophy.

I just turn on fight requests for both ranked and casual, thinking maybe bigger pool of matches.

BLs don't work that great for me and I want to play many people with different characters and play styles. Matchmaking is really slow sometimes so I have to search for both ranked and casual if I want to have good amount of matches.

Yup. Seems like common sense. That's how we grew up playing Street Fighter.

I guess my biggest problem right now is I don't really know how to approach with Cammy.

Her Skill is okay, but it's so open. I'm not sure if I can control the spacing on it, either. Hooligan works okay but it really depends on spacing. Jumping in is just death.

Trials should be things that include matchup specific situations, learning how to tech tick throws, learning how to anti-air, how to punish unsafe moves, etc. The game could do so much more to teach you about its systems and strategy than it actually does.

Something like "Bison will come at you with a flurry of his bullshit safe normals. Wait for the perfect moment after a blocked unsafe move if he has any which I don't think he does, and punish it for at least 150 damage"

Would be so much more useful than "Can you jump in FP, st MP, cr MP xx Shoryu? Our high tech trial systems can confirm yes or no just in case the combo counter is too difficult a concept for you!"

Trial mode just being "here's a list of commands. Can you do this combo?" Is so pointless. You don't need a special mode for teach you that, just a list of combos to practice in training.

How are you guys running into so many rage quitters? You finding them strictly on ranked or casual too?

Ranked, Casual and Battle Lounges. lol The last 2 are hilarious because there's no LP gained or lost so why quit?

You know you really fucked somebody up emotionally if they RQ a casual game or Battle Lounge. lol

Played some good games with a dude Orion from France I think it was. Surprisingly rollback wasn't too bad except for some spots of trouble. Strong Karin foosies. Decent Laura too although she got caught by the V-reversal > Command grab trick at the last game last round that many people have yet to be exposed to :D

Gives me a good feeling every time that gimmick lands. I'll enjoy it while it still has life in the week one days

Also somehow I forgot in the lobby that I made that it was FT3, not FT5 -_- That Daigo tech

I'll tell you a big reason why I play ranked. It is so I can play battle lounge. Let me elaborate. I don't want to play beginners in battle lounge. If I join a lobby with someone who is silver or gold league and let's day I have no points then I would get kicked out without even a match.

I don't blame them either. I want to be at a higher league so I can face people at the same skill level.

Tbh this is true.

I had someone join as a rookie and I just left.
