Haven't been putting anymore time training in SFV, but I will not play Ranked until this rage quitting stuff is fixed(Yes, I care about points, enough). I'm guessing casual matches make sure that you don't lose or gain anything?
You still get FM from winning casual matches at least.
Not bad.
People still rage quit in casual. And lobbies.

There is no escape.

Yeah, it works for that. If you want to gain FM while you do it, and you come across a good player you wanna keep playing...or get that runback, it should be an option.

It's specifically not an option because it awards FM.

Capcom can't have people farming themselves or bots.

When are we going to hear again from Capcom concerning an actual patch for the game?

I mean it's been a week since they said they were going to fix the rage quitting issue and we've heard nothing about plans for the next patch or when it might drop... They're not waiting for the mythical March update are they? I mean shit... That might be the end of March for all we know...I'm not putting up with this crap till the end of March, I'll move on to another game till Ibuki comes out...

Also, will they be balancing characters at all before EVO or is everything as it will be gameplay wise until a major version revision after the current season?

It's so much easier to get FM in single player though. Seems like a waste of time to limit legit players in fear of people farming 50 FM at a time.

Sure, single player content is limited, but with what we have at launch you can probably get every character from season 1. Then we'll have trials, daily challenges and the new story. All of them will award players with more FM, I'm assuming.

They talked about a balance patch a year from now. With the exception of obviously broken shit that needs to be patched, in case people find something, and glitches in general.

Haven't played lobbies yet but causal has way less RQ than in ranked. Most of the time it's fine, it's pointless there anyway.

It's definitely less prevalent, but I have on idea why people would drop there in the first place, lol.

Yea I'm up to 350k doing story mode and easy survival. Finishing everyone normal will probably push me up to 500k but I'll be honest doing hard is probably not gonna happen outside of characters I'm comfortable with. I'll do Ryu, Laura, and Karin hard and that's about it. Just is too crazy. There is a gaffer that rocked it out and it at like 750k FM. Crazy patience.

I provided more clarity in my original post...
Beginning of March? Middle? The end?
March 2017? When?

It would be helpful if Capcom would communicate their intentions with us better than they are...

I mean we live in an age of Twitter... We bought your incomplete game for $$$, so give us the info, the tools to do so are their.

No balance patches until after CPT.

Yeah, who even knows.

We don't actually know what they're changing either.

No balance patches until after CPT.

It's not a balance patch, it's a bug patch.

You mean I have to live with Karin who has a broken move that works on no one till after CPT? Lame...

How they let Karin's post Rassenha command throw out into the wild as completely useless as it is, is beyond me.

They reached their quota on Command throw characters, had to kill the move

Cammy has had a useless hooligan throw for 20 years. I'm sorry if I don't commiserate that that one move out of so many options isn't up to snuff. :P

Well they did release the game with a third of the menu items greyed out. Want those cool outfits you just unlocked in story? Gotta wait till March!!!!!

Honestly... With exception of Ken minus banana hair, I was rather underwhelmed with the story mode costumes... I'm not missing the ability ro use them really...

I hope the premium ones have more effort to them, like the preorder costumes...

What can I do as a ryu player against a Nash who is all up in my face doing whatever he wants? I'd be laying on the ground and try to wake up dp but it seems like it would never come out fast enough before he's comboing me again.

What's the downside to Gief's V-Trigger activation? He just gets a random safe move that can lead to 400 damage or whatever?

Only the MP/EX versions are invul. If you're using the jab or fierce version a meaty will beat it.

Jesus christ what is up with QCB + MK with Nash? Pretty much destroyed someone in casuals by spamming that. Is it safe on block? At least it feels like it is.

Use medium or EX dp. They're the one with full invincibility. If you're using those and still losing then it's likely an issue with your inputs.

It's safe if spaced at a distance, but no, it can be sweeped or even worse at closer range.
