Did you have salsa though?
I did. I had some lime tortilla chips and Jacks Special salsa.
I also watched some of that Fuller House and got bored.
I'll get high on life Jobbs

Is it just boobs + small subplot? That's all I've gotten from it based on the thread in OT.
Looks pretty boring. I guess I wasn't a fan of full house either.
Trying to pick something to watch on Netflix and I can't choose because there is too much to choose from heeelp D:

Tucker and Dale vs Evil
I tried Tucker and Dale, but it just seemed like it was trying way too hard to be subversive. Especially at the end, when you think things will finally unravel, only for it to continue through really bad writing.
The entire movie is a satire on the typical horror movie tropes. So the bad writing is intentional.
What's your address?Fuck me man

Unreal is even easier if you know what you're doing. (hint: I don't)
UE4 has some really powerful tools that I've only just started learning about.
Jobbs, I'll pretend to be an expert at Unity if you pay me.
Blueprint kinda blue me away when I first started learning about them. But my lack of understanding kept me from doing anything super complicated, and I didn't invest the time needed to learn it.

have you mastered it yet?![]()
I made a ball roll around. does that count?
Baby steps
This is my first game ever.
The goal of the game is to push all of the little dudes off the screen and clear the screen of dudes. See how fast you can do it
how can you get them all off the screen if they're constantly spawning?Baby steps

I never liked programming, stuff disgusted me in high school and I hated everything related to programming even during college
and I am pretty mad on myself for that, but I have no will to teach myself this stuff.
it's a joke guys, there is no objective. but that is the first functioning test I ever did.
here's something real
This is a test room that I made for something back in 2012 or 2013 or whatever (I guess for people to help me figure out how many enemies I could have at once) that was made from the OG flash version of Ghost Song (previous to the Kickstarter, it was a flash game!)
you can dash with C, shoot with X, jump with Z, switch fire modes with space, cycle weapons with F.. spawn zombies with G.
you can also hold the shoot button down when regular fire mode is on and charge it up, mega man style.
Some of these mechanics have changed in the current version of the game. For example, dashing is now done with L1 and R1, which will always dash left and right respectively regardless of what way you're facing. Also you no longer have to switch fire modes to shoot alternate weapons, you just have two different shoot buttons -- X and Y (which I really think works nice).
I've always made things difficult for myself because I feel like mot programming is cheatingwow unity is really easy. and here I was trying to code everything for years

Plus I've spent so long getting decent at programming I'm going to damn well use it

Your game, man.
Makes me giggly.
You going to GDC?
Awesome!! When can I pretend to start working for you?
I'm kind of the same way. I still hand-code every website I build instead of manipulating Wordpress layouts or the like. I like having a full understanding of what's going on under the hood.
As an aside, I've been curious about Unity for quite a while now and am finally going to give it a try today. I have the whole day free so hopefully I can relearn some C# and figure out what everybody likes about this thig!![]()
This website has consistently been one of my favorite places to learn Unity scripting. The Graphs tutorial there was what solidified my interest in working with 3D.
Praise Jesus!
Lady friend from last night is interested in trying this whole thing again.
