I probably wouldn't put too much stock into winrates.

Vega's v-reversal is the backflip.

I have a really strange habbit of picking underdog characters. I guess I hate to think I won because I used a good character or something, I dunno.

But I picked mika just to randomly try her on release day and loved using her straight away. Knowing she has the bottom tier win rate makes me like her even more lol.

Anyway you can only take those stats so far. There are a lot less mika players than ryu for example and if most those mika players just arnt good at the game the stats will be meaningless.

Still it's interesting stuff to see.

I mained T.Hawk in SF4 lol, struggle was real in certain matchups. Once you got in though, ooooh boy, queue the marn vs fchamp gif lol.

But yeah I know she's not horrible

They have a little usefulness, its just kind of interesting. It won't apply to pro players, maybe years down the line when the only people still playing have been playing forever and the level of play is higher overall.

When Xrd came out in arcades, Millia was absolute bottom tier when it comes to win/loss ratios, this stayed the case for few months after release even though at that point it was clear that the character is S tier and everyone agreed she's in for some nerffs.

For all you know this just means the character is a bit harder to play than the rest, not figured out yet or there's something about her that make bad players want to pick her. ;p
 
Just had a comeback third round win with Nash. Other guy had 70% life lead. Stuns me in the corner and instead of finishing me off he just does a lazy throw. Taunts. I end up winning. God bless no chip and V-reversal kills.

Couldn't resist sending him a cheeky message about karma for taunting. And he replied back that he didn't care and he let me win because it was casual and he already had the win in the bag. lol

Whether true or not, I felt like Lupe (even though both of us were trash players). I think I can retire from SF5 now.

You're not the only one who thinks so.

Keep in mind that this tier list is essentially a popularity contest, and only reflects common belief. So you almost always see a spike when a character wins a tournament.

Just saw this post when someone else quoted above. I've never rage quitted, must have been a capcom server thing. Now rage cigarette smoking? That's a different story haha.
 
Wow I have exactly 100 matches, with a 50% win rate. It's telling that I blow up Laura's. That's who my brother plays and it really does show when you put in the grind and learn the match ups. I need to work on Necalli, Fang, and Karin.

Pleasantly surprised with:
- Winning 2/3 mirror matches. Shows I kinda understand Cammy's most basic strategies better than other Cammy players of my level on average. My character is essentialy my best matchup right now :lol
- Winning slightly more than losing against Ken, which is surprising cause I hate going up against Ken. Second best matchup for me it seems.

Terrified by:
- Chun-Li players. 16% win rate is harsh
- Rashid players. 25%

Also, lol at that 100% win rate against, well, 2 Zangiefs.

90 matches doesn't provide enough data though.
