That's the kind of thing they'll just send out in a press release or a random youtube video, imo. Directs don't typically announce announcements.

Fates still has DLC coming out, and a wave 2 hasn't been revealed yet, even though the first pack is called pack 1.
 
Oh, I just realized, this broadcast is 5PM EST..... Man, I prefer Directs that are in the morning (in my time zone).

A photo of a screenshot looks more legit than a printed one. While Reggie is in the restroom, a ninja sneaks into Reggie's Office and takes a pic of his desktop screen.

I could see them waiting till E3 on all of those except SF. I'd be thrilled to be wrong about that as far as Paper Mario is concerned. Who knows when exactly M3 will be announced. We haven't seen FF in a while so that and PMU could be late year titles...though based on the seemingly very real leak from Trev I suppose FF is coming much sooner than that. So it's more PMU and M3 I'm less certain we'll see.
 
There will be ZELDA! Bet it will start with Zelda or Yokai Watch <3
And man, how much time left to NX reveal, I only hope it won't be a thing held for E3. Plus cross your fingers for Earthbound on 3DS VC, there is still a lot of hope in me.

Me too!

I was damn hooked to Star Fox Command despite it being a game universally considered to be mediocre. Thus, I'm sure I will enjoy Star Fox Zero even if it will be not so great, and yet I have a lot of hope in Miyamoto's team and PlatinumGames to deliver a stellar game.
 
So realistic expectations would be a new metroid prime trilogy with one game for each platform

That *AND* zelda getting the same treatment, with Wii U getting courage (for being brave to release on a system with a low instal base), 3DS getting wisdom (for being wise to release on a system with a large install base), and NX getting power (for releasing on a more powerful console).


Edit: Has a nintendo direct ever covered a game that is literally going to launch the very next day/already has reviews out? Not counting additional content for the game or anything like that, but straight up talking about a game releasing the very next day, if not same week?

Yah it will start with Zelda with the remaster known as Twilight Princess. I don't think Nintendo will show off the new Zelda game, but they should. If we get a Zelda Wii U trailer I will spend the next 8 months watching it everyday.

If the NX is coming out this year, Nintendo needs to start talking.

The leak is for the european direct

USA direct will not have Monster Hunter, but will show Mother 3, Paper Mario and a new Pokemon f2p game just because, right ?

I saw the thread title, got super excited, then it dissipated pretty quick. What's coming before Summer this year other than Star Fox? :/

I remember European November 2015 Direct mentioning a bunch of titles coming November 20th, like New Style Boutique 2 and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, but they literally just called them by names and showed a 5-second snippets of each one.
