Between the MHG trademark leak and multiple people in this thread saying the leak is legit, it is seeming unlikely to be fake at this point. Also, there have been some leaks here and there in the past.

I was going to point out that it could be because this is supposedly what NOE will show, but then again both of those come out in March in Europe, so I don't know what to tell ya.
Normally I'd agree. But given how long it took for Lucas, Roy, & Ryu to get their Amiibos out following their reveals, I wouldn't be shocked if they decided to wait on the announcements for the Amiibos. Then again, Cloud should at least be ready by this summer, with Bayonetta & Corrin coming during the fall.
I want to know why any Nintendo fan or employee would want to leak a directs content the day before it airs.
Why would you want to spoil/damage a reveal just for the sake of a day? If it's a few months off reveal and you want to create hype...I can understand it (like the Zelda NX rumour/Paper Mario Wii U rumour)..but a day before just seems like an attempt to ruin the surprise as opposed to giving a bit of excitement.

Clearly a lot of it is EU-focused. If you were to take away all the stuff irrelevant to NA (Fire Emblem, Yo-Kai, etc), there isn't nearly enough for a full presentation. So what else is there?

Paper Mario for WIi U please. What other Wii U games can there be other than that Zelda game? We all know that isn't coming out this summer.
I mean we still don't know what the "Main Presentation" folder contains so I'd imagine anything that's worldwide goes in there. That would mean games we don't know about that have to be announced or something. Maybe "new" games for the west (US and EU) like the Mario vs DK game and other localizations.

Nothing. I would assume (almost hope) that Pikmin has been moved to NX at this point. No benefit to releasing that on Wii U.

I hope you're right. But some of that stuff, like developer chats, seems like it'd be worldwide.
Nibel's post gives me some hope there's more to the Direct beyond what's listed here, though.
Based on what's listed, it's definitely for EU. Whether other regions will see anything substantively different or more exciting, who knows. Any major WW game announcement will be in all the Directs, though, so hopefully there's more to this one than what's on the list. (I guess it's possible for JP to get a moderately big announcement and NA/EU to not get it yet, but nothing too massive IMO.)

I would say that there's no benefit with releasing it at all. Then again it could also be a 3DS title.
Sorry I meant aside from Paper Mario. Paper Mario this summer (or like Sept/Oct), and Zelda November. That's the Wii U's fall.

I can't predict the future, but if I had to make a $5 bet on anything about Nintendo this fall, it would be Zelda hitting the Wii U (and probably NX).

The source is indeed from NOE, but that was already known if you follow back the original source of the image which is a Dutch Nintendo fansite that vouched 100% for their source. And yeah, this was confirmed to me.
I don't know much more beyond what you guys know, but..
Y'all seem to ignore these two folders. And Nintendo never did a single Direct without announcing something new. So yeah, me personally speaking - and without knowing much more - I totally expect there to be more, and from what I've heard over the past few months I can imagine what they might announce.

Not likely. Trev's source said that the new Zelda game is coming this year as a Wii U/NX cross-gen release.

Just to play devil's advocate, they might've already known about the trademark leak when creating their fake leak. They could have found it first. But I agree that's highly unlikely with the posters in here corroborating the veracity of the leak.
What do you mean by produced, here, though? I would think developer stories for example come from NCL.

Ragnell Greatsword + Ike outfit
Dual Falchions Dual blades + Lucina outfit(Awakening had 2 falchions, technically)
Dragon Fang Lance + Corrin outfit.
I could see a Corrin outfit for the felynes themed around their dragon transormation. Their weapon would be the dragon fang, the helm would be the dragon head, and the armor would be Corrin's armor made out of dragon scales.
Not even technically, there was another Falchion on Valentia (Valm) during Marth's time, Duma made it and Alm used it to stab Duma in the face. Was pretty cool. I assume it's retconned it out of existence though.
_WIP is more than likely "Work In Progress", used for unfinished assets in video production usually. Not saying that is 100%, but you know.
Main Presentation could also contain standard Direct assets for title cards, graphics, and more. Or it could be full of Zelda logos. I'm excited to find out either way.

Most of the posts in this thread are: "I hope they reveal Paper Mario!" or "I hope we get an official announcement of Mother 3!"
So I don't believe the leaks/rumors have hurt the hype and excitement. It's probably the opposite effect. It has made people more hyped for tomorrow's Nintendo Direct.
God I just had the same reaction, just googled it and was like "Oh it's that thing".
EDIT: Wait, it's already out in Japan? Man.

I hate that we seem to be reaching a point that some thing that appears to be a leak makes people speculate on other things that might or might not be leaks.
Very much appreciate the clarification, thanks man. I would just hope the "something new" wouldn't be simply MHG, but I don't think Nintendo has ever made their sole new announcement in a Direct a third party game, so here's hoping. Fingers crossed for some cool stuff.
Trev's leak was only for games that Nintendo is publishing in North America. From the looks of it, Capcom is handling publishing duties for MHG over in the Americas (with Nintendo likely only lending a hand with advertising).
I don't think I've ever in my life seen such a quick sequel announcement. They have to still have plans to get revenue out of the original, announcing Yo-Kai 2 now would be a terrible move.
Generations doesn't really make sense for story though. MHX was all about bringing back stuff from every Monster Hunter generation (hence the Cross in the title) so Generations fits perfectly.

Got excited for new Yo-kai Watch news before realizing that the picture was from Europe where Yo-kai Watch 1 isn't released yet. That's too bad.
Before Sun and Moon got announced for Fall I was fully expecting Yo-kai Watch 2 to come out this year. If they want to be serious about the worldwide push they need to get "the good game" out in the West so they can try to catch up with Japan (who is on 3)

I imagine the specific lineup for SNES VC will be different between regions, requiring a different sizzle reel.
In a historical context, this leaking will be a far more interesting footnote on the company than anything they could announce tomorrow anyway
Just appreciate the insanity while we have it - I can't imagine Nintendo doesn't take massive strides to tighten their information flow after the last few weeks (or months, if we want to include the TP HD leak)
Crazy to think how all of this is probably an indirect consequence of Iwata's death. He was such an important linchpin for them
