SNES VC on N3DS makes sense if;
a. It's a port of Wii U SNES VC.
b. It's a preview of NX SNES VC and these games will be playable on NX day 1.
c. Both A and B.
d. NX is not coming for a while.

There's only 1 game I want from any potential SNES emulator and that's R-Type 3. But seeing as irem is gone I don't see this happening.

Dude, Monster Hunter. A large group of people are desperate for a Monster Hunter on their non-Nintendo handheld.
VC on 3DS is good for every system. The games play well and have a good UI. The only complaint is the "dark filter" that some dislike.
NES/SNES on U is terrible. There is significant input delay.
GBA on U is great. Plays well, looks good. The U's GBA emulator was done by a different team.
NES on the Wii U is incredibly quiet too.

As soon as I noticed the horrendous input lag in Punch-Out, then confirmed with SMW, I stopped playing VC on U.
I gotta turn my audio up way loud when playing anything NES.
there was never a specified time as far as I've heard in regards to the rumors.
Besides launching mother 3 on 3/3 would be cool.

I don't expect any big surprises, but it's always nice to see what's going on with Wii U and 3DS titles.

I was also wondering about this. Perhaps the game is coming out this year around the same months as Pikmin 3 did which was July for Japan and Europe and August for North America . Given Miyamoto's previous comment about how Pikmin 3 didn't play very well on the 3Ds prototype Nintendo made due to the control scheme, then it would seem like Pikmin 4 will be a home console title.
Is the input lag also present on the gamepad? I'm glad I kept all my VC titles on my Wii.

This is interesting; watched GamExplain's discussion on this list and it sounds like an interesting direct
. I feel that Paper Mario Wii U will be talked about (as that has to be a July 2016 game) and we will finally get information on #FE's US/EU release date (plus the first trailer with English VA's).
I feel the Star Fox First Print Edition will be a special Fox & Falco/Transforming R-Wing Amiibo; reminds me of the Chibi-Robo amiibo with the Zip-Lash game or Amiibo Festival getting Isabel included with the retail version.
We could get a Zelda teaser at the end but I strongly doubt it.

Wasn't the rumour about it being released around the time for the 10th anniversary of its initial release? Well that'll be in April.
