I'm guessing unlike the McCarthy scene, he actually fucks them up a bit.
If I had known the all-female cast is going to get ruined I would have been against it back when that was the thing.
I'm thinking that's why they chose a guy his size
That was a perfect joke. The timing, the delivery, everything."Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here."
"They caused an explosion!"
"Is this true?"
"Yes it's true."
"This man has no dick."
21 Jump Street says no.

How about instead of shoehorning these actors into an established franchise, you write a brand new movie for the 4 of them that people will look back on in 30 years and say shit like "Remember X? That was awesome and original"

Because woman licking guns is ... empowering? /s
Completely the opposite of everyone slowly inching away from Ray's proton pack when they turned it on.
Feel almost the complete opposite on the film then you.
I went from "yeah I'll see this for sure" based on the directors track record to "uh, I don't know about this."
I am probably most disappointed in the blatant token black caricature they threw in there. Her entire intro in the trailer gave me like 3-5 cringes in succession. Really, really, hope the movie itself does a better job for that character then this trailer did.
After that the entire tone and feel seemed off. I am not sure what I expected but I think either a really smart reboot/remake like TFA or for Paul Feig to go in a completely unique and interesting direction with the female cast.
This is the same argument we get for black people and franchises.
Step one to avoid being called sexist for simply not liking the trailer is not to write shit like this.
Yup.
McCarthy Possession will be early on in Act I. Hemsworth will be the Second To Final Boss in Act II/beginning of Act III that acts as a clear contrast between the McCarthy Possession.
Looks like in the background there's a dead cop so I'm guessing he ends up killing a cop. So either he's possessed or he's behind everything.
If they had made this a Netflix original series I feel like it would be a home run.
In the trailer it says 4 scientists saved ny 30 years ago but no that is not canon Ernie Hudson was not sciencetist.
I'm continually surprised at how people don't get Hollywood or audiences, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
As an illustration, here's a recent comic:
Looks like in the background there's a dead cop so I'm guessing he ends up killing a cop. So either he's possessed or he's behind everything.
Either way, that's clearly an Act 2/3 thing where the McCarthy joke is probably foreshadowing.
I thought emma stone was in this![]()
Fuck, yup, he done killed a dude.
It looks fun. I don't see the issue. This movie isn't going to erase the original from history.
Also of note is the other shot:
There is already police tape around so it makes me think Hemworth's character is going toward some area that is the source and so might be possessed by a ghost that is causing all this chaos.

Why not?
Fuck I love Kate McKinnon
Trying way too damn hard, like the rest of the trailer.
Verge has an interview with Feig and one of the writers, some interesting tidbits about the movie (Slimer is a puppet enhanced with CG for example)

THE FORCE AWAKENS is essentially a remake of STAR WARS and it didn't erase the original from history. You can purchase the film on home video and it's still going to be played on television. But how will young children KNOW??????

My level of interest/confidence in this film was pretty low before now, but I thought that was a really fun trailer. Characters all seemed like fun, and I liked the banter between them a lot.
Movie seems like a looker, too.
The bluish effect to the ghosts just looks God awful. Going to be a lot of slime jokes in this one.

The new slime splitting ghost is an actor with CG enhancements. Most of the ghosts in the movie are actors or puppets with CG work on top of them.Yea I agree.
Maybe I'm an old man yelling at clouds, but I thought the old practical ghost effects looked much better.

Wait is this a remake or a sequel? That first line confused me
The FX/ghosts don't look scary or creepy, but they do look fun. I'm excited.
Yea I agree.

It looks just okay, but a sizable faction of nostalgic fanboys would hate it no matter what, for obvious reasons. I will say that Jones's character is a woeful stereotype -- of course she's not as smart and works in the fucking subway.
Yea I agree.
