Needed. In the comics a TON of scenes have his eyes drawn bigger or smaller to show him narrowing them or looking shocked. This should help sell things for him in suit scenes for reaction shots better.

In the previous 5 Spider-Man films, he takes off his mask every time we need to see what his reaction is. There was no way to emote through the mask.

I like this solution much better.

Two trailers and the only sighting of the "villains" of the film is two seconds of Crossbones punching a dude.

I don't know if that makes me more or less hyped about the whole thing.

I know it's not really necessary, but I'd kind of love it if Red Hulk really were in the film. I'd love to see one of these teams go to town in a fight with him (preferably Cap's).

I mean you know those blow up plastic dolls? Thats all I see in the texture style. Amazing spiderman 2 looked so much better to me.

I still disagree with that but that's just my personal opinion. Pratt was fine but I can see another actor playing Star Lord the same way he did. Not like how I can't imagine someone else playing Iron Man besides Robert Downey Jr.

Not gonna have a discussion about realism in movies with super soldiers and flying power armor and androids that can walk through walls. Nope.

Haha, realistic is probably the wrong way to put it. A better word would be believable. There's an internal logic to the super soldier powers of Captain America and Iron Man's armor that makes them feel believable within this world. The same cannot be said about the casualty counts that they rolled with in the trailer. This is a very minor point though, and won't hurt my enjoyment of the film. The ridiculously low numbers just really, really stood out to me after watching the trailers. If the Avengers are that good to keep casualty counts to a number well below 1% in some cases, and no more than 5% in the rest, then I don't see the point in more oversight. And who knows, it might be placeholder and the final film will see more believable numbers put in.

I think the way it's gonna go down is Cap ends up either dead or in jail, Bucky turns away the shield because he could never live up to the ideal, so Falcon takes it.
