Captain America: Civil War - Final Trailer

Decent trailer. I was thinking they were going to save Spider-man for the movie. His costume doesn't fit with the others. If the movie was set in the 60s I could see it, but it comes off looking Party City compared to everyone else. I wonder if his line was just for the trailer, it doesn't come off as appropriate during the film, but then I don't know the context of that scene. It looks like it happens during the battle, but I can't be sure.

What if Marvel and Sony never released that press in 2014 that they were rebooting Spidey and featuring him in the MCU? Kept the whole production of Spider-Man 2017 a secret as well as his involvement in this movie.

If this was the first we ever heard of Spider-Man appearing in the MCU, this trailer would have broken the internet for hours.

give him bangs, a snapback and some leather joggers. he can still be a teenager dammit!!

yeah no doubt. there's a night and day difference between how this trailer looks and suicide squad for example (I would say batman v superman's daytime scenes too). visually they are so much more appealing.

the lighting in these civil war trailers looks extremely flat. still i'm definitely looking forward to this. especially after seeing the directors handle captain america/widow in the last film. the stuff they'll do with spiderman and black panther should be tight.
What Day Time scenes in BVsS?

Awesome trailer super hyped for another Captain america movie.

But FUCK Spiderman all the other heros are welcome but FUCK spider-man he deserves to forever trapped in his sony remi or webb or who making his shitty movies now adays.

hyped to see antman in this, would of like black panter to star in his own movie before showing up in this movie.

I hope in that scene... If there is a fight, that Spiderman just rips through them like a hot knife through butter, like in the comics. None of the movies have really driven home just how strong Spiderman really is.

Marc Webb did a great job. It was some of the writing in 2 that I think hurt it a little. I still thought both movies were great but I'm pretty alone there.

I do agree the only issue was the writing. I like 1-but the writing in 2 was a mess. Andrew was a great Spidey.

It looks awesome
in the imagination of a five year-old playing with his action figures.

It looks really ridiculous without any context.

One of the worst shots I've seen in any of these movies, still hyped though.

Seriously though, Deadpool ruined me. Every time I see a super hero landing from now on I will hear fricken Ryan Reynold's voice talking about it. First thing that popped into my brain when Spidey did it.

Sony did a number on Webb. Won't claim he's a great director, but the deleted scenes of ASM1 show a stronger vision and it's sad how it's all replaced or dropped.

The second movie's script was written by Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci. It's no surprise as to why it turned out the way it did. I didn't like Electro's writing that much, although I mostly liked his on-screen presence especially during the action, but I did think it had a good enough story even if some of it felt hacked together, like the Richard Parker subplot.

The action was great, everything between Garfield and Stone was fantastic and I loved Dane as Harry/Goblin. The movie worked for me more than it didn't. The first film had a much better script and was probably the better movie, but I don't feel this level of hate toward them that some seem to. At worst they're problematic but enjoyable movies and they did have soul IMO. I would rank them higher than most of the MCU, personally.

I see some saying that they're worse than Spider-man 3 and that's just when I have to take a few steps back and leave them be.

Well it looks like I'm digging out my spidy cuff links I was to my wedding to wear to work forever.

So much fecking hype right now.
