Avengers was a reasonably good movie. And this is from someone who was not wowed by it.
Avengers 2 was poor, but that hardly means that the MCU was overall improved due to Whedon's removal.

Starting humming it before I even clicked on the video. I knew it had to be the GOAT scene.
I'm saying that I hope those events are called out during rundown of world events that have brought them to this point.
The NYC invasion lasted less than an hour but that's still considered major. I can't imagine no one noticed that fight happening in London.

Spidey is overshadowing everything, but Steve's "I could do this all day" line at the end there is a really nice callback to his beginnings.
who is surprised by this, tho? The Amazing Spiderman 2-movie franchise both did over $700m ww, but are considered FAILURES by peeps... let that sink in. XD

I'm not a huge Marvel fanboy or anything but it is super exciting we get to see Spidey on screen with all the other Avengers finally.

The only reason I'm glad they went with Holland is because he's younger and fresh blood. Garfield really tried on those movies, you could tell he poured a lot into them but the reception they got and how they went unfinished probably didn't make him too happy. A younger actor is better for a revision as the younger they are the more they can play the role and they don't need to keep changing actors every time someone sneezes.
Otherwise, loved Garfield, more than Maguire, at both Peter and Spider-man.

The most we've seen of Crossbones is that fight in Africa, right? I wonder if he might get taken out early in the movie and pop up for the third act.
After calming down a bit, and rewatching the trailer like ten times, I really think this movie is gonna be something special. The plot is interesting and the emotional angle does wonders for giving it some tension and stakes. And I know that most MS films are like this, but I do love how bright and comic booky this looks, between Black Panther's motion lines, the airport fight splash page scene, and Spidey's costume lifted straight out of one of the original comic books (which is really a great choice for his introduction into the MCU). Can't wait for May, this is gonna be a wonderful movie to see on a sunny spring day.

Gotta have that cheesy trailer shot that works perfectly for those 10 second commercial spots. Pretty much every superhero team up movie has it.
ASM2 suit is still the best on screen Spidey suit, but this MCU suit might be #2.
I'm sure in time the MCU Spidey will reach or surpass the ASM2 suit.
I don't know why I laughed at this...
If I'm Team Iron Man, I one punch Hawkeye and gang up on someone.
We need comparision shots... I know someone will do it with the similar pose... Toby Maguire might have the best suit. This one is just to... flat? It lacks punch.

Yeah, really disappointing since all the webswinging and uberhuman jumps in the other movies were done by real actors.

I think he's only in the opening battle. Rumor is that the explosion we saw in the last trailer where Wanda is gasping is him blowing up
But it isn't full CGI.
