It's not the same story.
He could say the same thing in a different context.

Whic would make zero sense in this context because their secret identities are not at issue.
He could be telling the Avengers about his life in a minute-long sequence and it would still work (and not have to do with the plot).

Dalek said:
He'll be Peter's principal.
He can date Aunt May too!

When ironman says "i was wrong about you, the whole world was wrong", could he be talking to bucky? It would not be the first time they use dialogue to mislead.

I believe he was talking to Cap because the whole world know who the Avengers are but they don't know who Bucky is.

The voice in isolation is fine.

It's a child's voice combined with a buff adults body that was weird as hell.

i don't know if we have a proper metric to determine the actual size of spider-man yet. We need to see him standing next to some other heroes for context i think

Imagine watching Star Wars as George Lucas. You don't see characters, you dont get surprised. You see actors and plot points you personally worked on. He doesnt get to enjoy it the same way we do.

Well, George does now! :D

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing, I hope so honestly.

The trailer is edited to make it look like Bucky kills (or at least severely fucks up) Rhodey, but I'm betting he gets shot down by one of the HYDRA goons.

Vintage reference. Kids underwear brand from back in the day. Superhero themed. Used to be really popular.

That's awesome

yeah no doubt. there's a night and day difference between how this trailer looks and suicide squad for example (I would say batman v superman's daytime scenes too). visually they are so much more appealing.

the lighting in these civil war trailers looks extremely flat. still i'm definitely looking forward to this. especially after seeing the directors handle captain america/widow in the last film. the stuff they'll do with spiderman and black panther should be tight.

Yeah, not sure why that is but that's the thing that hits me right away... it looks really dull. There's not a lot of contrast in play.

If I had to predict the chain of events
Iron Man's team wins at the airport. After the battle, as IM and WM fly away, a third party takes down WM. Shot isn't coming from an ordinary rifle.

they ADR all of his scenes though especially since you can't see his mouth. this could have been a last minute dubbing. a shit one at that but whatever, there's a lot of likelihood that scene is different in the film.

edit: actually it aint even that bad on second watch. it just took away the initial excitement from me though due to the low energy :(
What the heck is it with that low energy posts. He was called "underoos" and is in the midst of the Avengers (who he probably grew up with and loves/looks up to). Implying you wouldn't be a bit shy/nervous with Cap and co looking at you after Stark gave you an underwear nickname callout?
Makes total sense for me that the hey everyone feels kind of forced/not witty at all.

Yeah Bucky's in a completely different location. Whatever took down Rhodey was a hell of a lot bigger than a bullet.

Maybe it's Crossbones or Zemo.

Yeah he's being called in to defuse a rather tense situation. He just fucking swiped Captain America's shield, he's not gonna be tossing insults around or sounding too confident. He knows it's volatile plus he is meeting a bunch of legit superheroes for the first time.

Nice, here are some high quality grabs from that.

You can totally see Ant Man on the arrow before the close up:

Nah, Stark is someone who does what he thinks is right, and does it 100%. He made Ultron because he thought it was the right thing to do (end the Avengers), and he's going full steam with this because he thinks it's what's best for everyone.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions

Yeah, it's a yellow-ish energy bolt. It'd either be Tony or Vision, or someone else. Bucky's lacking a gun in all the airport stuff. It would be just like Tony to accidentally shoot Rhodey while shooting at someone else, and then blame them for it.

I really like the streamlined look of this Spidey suit over the raised webbing of Maguire's and ASM2's suits, which never really sat well with me.

I don't really follow comic books and am only half-interested in this movie.

Is this one of these deals where characters fight for a whole movie until a bigger threat emerges and then they have to team up again, or is someone gonna die, or set up another movie, or what?

Black Widow being a double agent is way too obvious. I think that last scene is just Cap being cornered and being at his wits.
