Is this one of these deals where characters fight for a whole movie until a bigger threat emerges and then they have to team up again, or is someone gonna die, or set up another movie, or what?

The movie executives have said it's different than the story they took inspiration from, though. So we don't know.

Man the VS concept works so much better with several movies of backstory, DC should have waited.

You don't need several movies to go "Holy fuck this alien is dangerous is shit." Plus we know who Batman and Superman are. Avengers needed time for these characters to be built up in poeples' eyes, expand the roster, etc. Batman and Superman are already ingrained pop-culture icons. Before 2008, the Avengers weren't.

The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon did this in a cool way-it was almost like you could see a "blur" around his head like when you seat heat coming off the ground far away, but it was in the shape of the "shapes" from the comic.

I thought the point was that Scott retains his normal strength when he shrinks but other wise is the weight of something that size.

I remember him falling and cracking the ground (I can't remember the context). That to me implied a higher density, but it doesn't matter all that much.

Looks like the bands are actually black or at least a darker blue than the rest of the suit.

I really like that and I've come around on them now because of that.
