Add another player to the list who is constantly falling through the world. Has happened 4 times in this gaming session alone across various parts of the map on different missions. This is regularly happening now after multiple computer and game reboots. It's more than just a randomly/rare occurring 'bug' from the BETA. Something is actually broken in the way the game is handling loading the map and objects.

Here's my video among hundreds of others experiencing the same.

This happened to me repeatedly during one coop session. The bug was resolved by fast traveling to my coop partner, btw.

I didn't touch DZ until I hit 30. Ran into some random dude from the Netherlands who wanted to group then we killed shit and extracted a handful of purples and yellows. I'm glad I waited till 30 to hit the DZ though.

I went in solo at level 14 and there were very few people around.

It made the extracts a little sweaty when the NPC rush came but I got there with a turret and med station.

I then moved back to the entrance by the BoO and picked up some gear on the way and was ambushed by two level 10 agents. I'm not even geared and downed them easily. Lovely DZ xp and cash.

I plan to go back for a bit more fun before I fall into the next bracket.

Summary: I made Lvl 10 DZ in 45 mins by killing two rogues and defending extraction sites.

Nvidia Drivers are STILL fucked - my pc crashes randomly when playing videos / Netflix

I think adding roaming mobs has made a massive difference to the dynamics of the Dark Zone.
It's such an improvement. The element of randomness makes things much more tense and requires much more awareness of your surroundings as the can sometimes surprise you when you're attacking the fixed encounters as well as just making it harder to sprint everywhere.

Not just that, the NPCs on landmarks can respawn surprisingly fast so you can suddenly get attacked from behind while fighting.

Also i think my favorite change?

Call in an extraction and it SPAWNS NPCs that will head towards there D:

Question- during missions or randolmly giving a civilian an item, I will receive greyed out loot of various levels. Can't equip the loot but I can sell it.

It does not show up as contaminated in my stash (I have not made it to the DZ yet).

What gives?

Can an advanced dude in The Division give me advise in regards to make a good build?

I am level 10 at the moment and here is how I want to play the game, so that maybe will help you, guide me through a solid build:

a) I intend of playing the entire campaign on Normal SOLO.

b) I intended afterwards to play the entire campaign on hard within a group and I dont like to be a tank.

c) I will venture inside DZ when I am level 30.

So basically I need a mainly SOLO build but one that will be useful to a group for campaign (hard) and DZ.

I dont really like tanking and I prefer a more well rounded build that perhaps gives a bit more focus on DPS.

That's why it took me 2 hours to extract my purple loot last night, between the roaming npcs, the outlaws, the one that spawn when you call the extraction

Took me 5 tries between dying or running away like a bitch because i got low on ammos

So good

Probably you should be carrying an AR that you like (recoil pattern, fire rate, etc.) and bring a marksman/sniper rifle to pick off and pull far targets with or for higher burst damage. AR is flexible if you tap the trigger on mid-range shots or spray center mass at closer ranges.

Skills are up to you though. Pulse is generally good as it keeps you aware of what you are facing. Support station I think is nice, it should auto revive you last I checked (might be a certain mod). Turret or rolling mine should be decent too.

As long as you keep up to date with your weapons even a bit honestly I don't think the regular track of PVE soloable content should be hard. It's only when you jump into DZ you have to be careful what level the NPCs are at (especially under 30) and they are at least purple if not yellow enemies, so be sure to take that into account.

You really only need to worry hard about specializing when you hit endgame. Solo is fairly easy to plow through.

I'm only lvl14 but plan on being the healer build. I have started using an assault rifle/smg as primary and LMG as secondary.

I sit slightly behind my group with heals and healing station killing the normal mobs with LMG whilst my team concentrate on the bosses.

I'm Level 15 and only 4k DPS. Why am I getting shit guns? Getting ganked by equal level enemies.
How much firearms skill do you have?

I have about 300 at 14 at that's all blues so I have about 8.5k to 9k dps. Even if I lose a bunch I should have 6k or so. Something seems wrong unless you aren't stacking firearms on even a bit of your gear.

Okay guys, does anyone know the exact time that dailies reset in the game? Like Destiny is 9AM GMT for us Brits.

Edit: nvm, it appears to be 12AM GMT. Nice!

Speaking of Healing, to get the most out of your healthbag things do you need to level up your skill power with tech gear? Mine sucks because I've got HP/DPS

Good thing i am not the only thinking that way. It had me that moment i played the closed beta.

Amen

Rerolling stats on gear is a thing i absolutely love in ROS

Smart people with good taste ;)

From Reddit.

Youtube says you get to open the door after completing all main quests - could someone who has completed all the main missions confirm?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQmql0vXW1M

Is the echo in Chelsea? If so it doesn't unlock until you've finished all of the main missions. I spent 30 minutes trying to get to it before Googling it and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.

It basically unlocks a mission to play after all the main content is done and you can grab it then.

edit: as In Service so eloquently put it.

Thanks guys, appreciate the help!

Ahh so I need to use gear that ups the firearms skill? I was just using whatever had better armour. Will check it out.

Are you guys getting a lot of texture pop in on the ps4?

Seems when i run around i get those shitty muddy textures and then they magically turn to high res ones.

Has anyone heard anything if this can be fixed? It appears to be the same from the beta.

Thanks! By specializing I guess you mean that this choice is irreversible, correct?

Might I ask what kind of specializations are there?

Oh it is changing the level, too in normal mode if one player is a much higher level
We were two level 6, one level 14 the enemies were level 9 in the 2nd main mission.
It's probably a+b+c/3. For the enemy level

Played about 14hrs so far. mainly solo and PVE. Level 11 and only 5 DZ as only popped in once, did an extraction and scarpered.

Loving it so far. Yes, none of the characters really stick and yes, there's a fair bit of legging it from one place to the next (the FT helps), but the atmosphere is great and the solo missions are a lot more weighty than i ever expected.

Finished the one
where you kill the leader of the Cleaners
and felt it was really atmospheric, quite challenging but really satisfying when i completed it.

Could explain why a mission I did with 2 others around level 22 got a bit challenging with a lvl 28 in the group.
He shredded the enemies, but we got shredded too :p
Didnt look too much at the enemy levels as we just had to stay alive for the xp :p

SMG's are useless.

They're not. You just have to be aware that you can't use them from long range. They are a medium range to close weapon. And when you start stacking those crits on a smg, they are one of the best weapons. You may also need to get an extended magazine mod if you're using a high rpm smg.

none.

your character is at all times totally changeable and is NEVER locked into any kind of specialization.

all stats are gear based, so change your gear = change your stats.

Completely agree. Nothing wrecks up close quite as fast as an SMG

Anyone else have this permanent tutorial notification? Just want to make sure it's not blocking any story mission progress. Otherwise it's not a big deal but the Ubisoft suggestion is to start a new character. I'm level 16, not gonna happen.

For now as a primary weapon I would try to use a decent assault rifle or submachine gun. I personally recommend the Aug in this game. It is very accurate and as a good rate of fire. As a secondary a simple marksman rifle if you are comfortable with sniping. Any marksman rifle will do but I personally like the socom rifles. For abilities support station is a must IMO. I honestly cannot see myself playing without it. I use the mod that allows immunity to status effects (burn, bleed, disorient etc...) it really comes in handy in the later levels where enemies tend to throw fire grenades and flashbangss in excess. The next ability I would recommend would be the firebreath turrent. When you throw them they burn nearby enemies and kind of "stunlock" them a bit. Play passive and be a support with healing. That is how I play.

Currently level 30 and 32 DZ

So is it explained why humans with hoodies can take 500 bullets to the head? Are they super human? Serious question.

Or do I need to suspended my disbelief because it's an RPG? In destiny I could understand due to fighting Aliens... Bug not Street thugs.

Good morning, back to work today after a division marathon. Means I'll be spamming the thread again lol.

Has anyone heard anything if this can be fixed? It appears to be the same from the beta.

I doubt it, it's probably here to stay unless the devs decide to change something about it.

I had someone me asking about this echo the other day, will show him this. Thanks for posting this.

Armored hoodies? ¯_(ツ)_/¯
