The CW has decided they don't have enough shows. They have renewed 11 shows. Everything is coming back... AND THANK GOD FOR THAT!

Omg. Omg. Omg. Yes! Yay!! TVD. Originals. JTV. iZombie. This might be the most satisfying single day of renewals ever for me.

Do we know how many eps each order is for?

(Oh, I see now ep orders are unrevealed.)

Cancellation Reaper on suicide watch, surely

Some of these CW shows are definently getting shortened/sent to Summer camp.

That Riverdale show is getting a primo spot in the lineup, among others.

I know the official reason for all the renewals is so the CW can continue its "year-round schedule", but I can't help but also think they're building up a library for when they pull all their shows from Netflix and start their own streaming subscription thing, like was rumored a little while back.

Evidently Warner Bros TV (and to a lesser extent CBS) are making a fortune selling the CW slate in international market which means everything gets picked up for another season in the US on the good ol' CW.

This also guarantees another year of friends chastising me for not watching The 100. Urgh, I'll get round to it...., at some point.

The show is off for two weeks, you have time now.

Makes sense to me. It feels like the CW slate is the most varied; they've got 3 (4?) superhero shows and a lot of other intriguing shows to back it up

Shows like Arrow and Flash are Top 5 shows here in Canada period, regardless of network. I'm sure that results in a nice chunk of change.

Good news about The CW renewals. I watch eight of them. Really only love iZombie, The 100 and Jane the Virgin though, so I'm the most happy about them being renewed.

HBO’s limited series The Night Of (formerly Criminal Justice), a passion project of the late James Gandolfini, is set to premiere this summer, the premium cable network announced today. A specific date was not announced.

Finally.

MWAHAHAHAHA!

Was iZombie really that certain to be cancelled? I know it doesn't do all that well despite a great lead-in, but surely that must have been enough compared to the alternatives.

I thought it had a solid shot at renewal, but wouldn't have been shocked by its cancellation. If I was the TV Reaper I think it'd have gotten 3 of those rating emojis.

It was a certain renewal. It is cheap, it is easy to sell, it gets good rating. Anyone who thought otherwise, isn't a good predictor.

Haha. I'll cop to being a less than good predictor gladly in this case. I didn't think it was certain. But I will say us Rob Thomas fans get a little angsty around renewal time.

TV Grim Reaper's twitter is hilarious to read after the CW news.

Theory that they picked up 6 bad pilots? That would surprise me.

iZombie being renewed makes me so happy. I wasn't too worried about it, but I'm glad it's officially coming back.

I'm surprised Reign is returning, I thought they were trying to quietly kill that one. But I guess they really just don't have enough space on the schedule.

So Flaked is out, whats the word on it? Anyone watched any of it? :o

well thats a shame... no wonder noone is talking about it :/

as long as he's around for ABC's Galavant
Possible Season 3 Episode 1 title - We cheated the Reaper, again.

Glad with the CW news.

I'm interested what Elementary will do when it moves to Sunday nights on the 20th. I'm assuming it'll do worse.
