Captain America: Civil War - Final Trailer

They might have just skipped it for the trailer. They also have London, New Mexico, Harlem, Monaco, the Stark Expo, and maybe even the fuckery that happened in San Francisco with Ant-Man to bring up.

Well, I think of the Africa one more because it's not them playing defense or protecting, just Avenger vs Avenger tearing through town.

Quit asking me that!

WHAT IS THIS?!

Ya know, even though we've seen like a billion Iron Man suits so far already, seeing how they come up with new ways for Tony to get in and out of the suit is still one of my favorite things about the IM/Avengers movies. It's like a ritual at this point. Each new movie introduces something special.

...Except Age of Ultron...

That said, IM2's suitcase scene is still the best one in terms of "Oh shit that's badass" hype value.

Didn't the Hulkbuster get shot to him from a satellite? That's pretty special.

What's the canon on movie spidey strength? We know the comic:

http://www.aminoapps.com/page/comics/2519403/7-times-spiderman-shows-his-true-strength

I have no idea if any of the films show next-level strength the comic does so maybe people could be basing on what they have come to expect from the films?

He always gets the "proportional strength of a spider". The definition can vary but he's always way stronger than a regular human.

Except when the script calls for it like in Spider-Man 2 when he's punching Doc Ock (a fat scientist with no actual powers) in the face and it's not knocking him out in one punch.

I love Tony's face when Bucky shoots him, such a "motherfucker did you just try to kill me?" look

ASM2 costume was the previous best, but in retrospect those eyes are way too big

Plus that whole raised webbing thing

People actually think that's Bucky shooting Rhodes? Marvel are gifted at cutting trailers, I'll give 'em that.

They're referring to when Stark grabs the gun after putting on the Iron Man gloves, not Rhodey being shot

Took a bit to get used to the black lines, but now I think I like them. Yeah, Spidey's red and blue, but he's got black around the eyes, his front spider emblem is black, the web shooters are also black, so these additional bands seem to tie things in a bit more. Just little accents.

The bit across the back of the shoulders is still a little odd.

That said, it may be my favorite movie costume. I never liked the huge, bright eyes of the ASM2 one or how shiny the whole thing is, and, while raised webbing is certainly a good look, it always made the outfit stand out as something Peter would never have made. That said, the new material/pattern isn't too much more believable, but it doesn't scream it as much.

The raised webbing always looked tacky to me. Not like cheap or as far as "style" or having good taste, but literally actually tacky, sticky to the touch.

I just imagine them being rubbery and getting caught on crap and ripping and being a pain in the ass. Like those little rubber nubs on some cheap winter gloves:

In my head the raised webbing is the same consistency as Creepy Crawlers.

Also said it earlier in the thread, but it's amazing how dated the raised webbing looks after having seen the new suit. Two days ago the TASM 2 suit looked fine, now it looks "old" along with the Raimi suit, like they're straight out of the 90's somehow (which probably says more about how I'm coping with my own aging than anything else).

Spidey need to wreck Cap's side in a scene like this. A single take moment where he just flows from one person to another in one fluid movement

The Russos nailed Cap, look like they nailed Panther. Let's hope they nailed Spidey

Deja vu. I feel like I've read this post before.

exactly..
I mean, i understand limitations and whatnot.
but instead of building a civil war as a toned down 5vs5 thing, I'd have preferred them to hold it for a few years and build on the rest of the cast of mcu in the meanwhile..

they might be doing a favour the the mcu in the immediate, if this film performs well, but not in the long term, as they would waste a chance to produce one of the most controversial arc of marvel comics with a "simplified version" for a cash in..
oh well..

seriously.
civil war? the magnitude of the word?
and how many heroes are fighting? 20? 30?
like.. wow..........

Captain America: Civil Dispute

Lmao even that random shield girl is beating on him

They're treating the dude like worf

If theres any justice spiderman or black panther should be beating on captain America in that team duel to show how strong they are but I imagine they'll just toss around bucky like a ragdoll

Isn't one of the big themes of this movie that Bucky is trying to go against his brainwashing / "programming" rather than sticking to the status quo as a killing machine?

Lol to be fair, he totally no sold that kick, while Falcon's flying ass and Panther's jump kick ass sent him flying

And you know Spidey's just gonna one shot somebody, probably Hawkeye because that'd be hilarious
