Stranger Things The Final Season - Teaser Trailer Released

Its not a callback when 4 out of 5 seasons now have significant episodes centering on them. Its just pure laziness.

But that being said..... cough.....cough ....#Justice4Barb

I wonder what 80s songs they are going to remind every one about. Kate Bush is still thanking them.

If it isn't a call back then it is a theme. And you need the theme.

S1 was such a slow, creepy mystery.
Now it's gone full action packed.
This feels like most shows that start with mostly horror.

It's why the Resident Evil 4 progression of power makes sense. Unless the entity can't be interacted with, humans eventually get better and strong enough to deal with the threat.

I'm expecting flamethrowers and a post-training arc Eleven.

They took so long that they need to use de-ageing tech. It's starting to look like the Wet Hot American Summer sequel projects where the actors are all 15 years older playing the same ages. Which, somewhat aptly, are Netflix projects. Full circle?

I'm into it but it's such a departure from season 1.

Theres still plenty of slow/down time.

We dont need True Detective with kids. Why in the hell would this show be some slow paced mystery drama? With a bunch of kids? No.

It was never trying to be True Detective. It was always a fusion of Goonies, ET, and Gremlins
