No, they drank the Bernie coolaid and were under the impression that he could actually get anything that he promised done.
When you compare the fairy-tale constructed by Bernie to the reality of America for the next 8 years, it's slightly depressing, that's why they're so sad.

They are fairly run of the mill progressives. Many progressives are disappointed in Obama for a multitude of reasons. They don't hate Hillary, they would just rather Bernie, the same could be said for many, many progressives in America.

Her followers hands down. I like Hillary as much as I can for a status quo candidate. Which we'll absolutely see more of now that she doesn't need to be liberal.
But her fans are the worst online. I don't visit Reddit though, so I don't see the worst of Bernie fans.

landline poll June 2015. I'd be very interested to see if that has changed since Bernie's run and how that would play out without the older landline demographic. Also, the "socialist" option was one of the least offensive options you could choose. Ex: I would never vote for a Black person (because I am racist).

I don't know. Nearly everyone I know who voted Bernie claims they'll either not vote, or vote Trump in the general to keep Clinton out of the White House. And more and more racist Bernie supporters seem to creep out of the woodwork as time goes on. Maybe you're right and it's just a bad group, but that's like all I see. Buncha fools.

I respect Bernie but hope he drops out tonight if it really ends up with Hillary going 5/5. There just is no way forward and we're going to need anything and everything to stomp out Trump.
