Yep if he didn't have an advantage coming up in some states he'd probably drop now. Instead we will drag this out to probably May. Clinton was wasting her time in 2008 with a much smaller gap

Bernie Sanders has been relevant for what, like 8 months now? That's a second in political time. Wait to see what prominent figures start cropping up in the next few years to see if Bernie's message took hold.

You just pivoted to a completely different point and completely ignored what I had actually said, as you are wont to do.

This kind of tunnel vision is exactly what lost him the primaries this time around.

I'm glad he ran as well, but I don't see this making any waves in the Democratic party. Getting a Dem President, with a Dem Congress and some Supreme Court nominations would be huge.

Now the Republicans are probably going to have to shift their ideology around if they want to have a chance in future elections. The rise of Trump is a wakeup call in that regard.

I mean yeah you have a point, but I don't know. Sanders will still be active in the Senate. I think he generated a message that will stick around in a lot of people's minds. It's not as forgettable as failed candidate #549. Time will tell. It's possible in 5 years people will be saying, Sanders who? But not so sure.

Who he was popular with is key though. He was massively popular with the youth vote. That voting block is only going to get more active as they get older. He was winning the next generation of reliable voters by a landslide. You've got to consider that.

He doesn't need to drop. But the fundraising engine should slow. I think it's getting close to like...a waste for people who could really use cash. But people are entitled to do what they want and I really don't like when people tell me what to spend my money on. Whatever.

He absolutely should stop going negative. He needs to start go heal the divide.

This. It's time to change his direction. Should be preaching/educating more at this point than trying to win an election I think.

I'd think the guilt of asking for money for voters in a race he can longer win would be enough to convince him it's time to go. That being said, he was a major positive. He has introduced many things in which Hilary needed to face and acknowledge and address. And things that hopefully Hillary realizes is needed to adopt in order to attract the many young voters like me that understand are important points Bernie raised.

Seriously, I will be seriously pissed if he keep going negative on Clinton.
 
I don't understand the importance of winning a state when the votes are proportional. Is it just for morale? Performance in specific districts seems much more important.
 
Sanders is going to get less and less media coverage now that it's become super clear he is not winning. Hell they didn't even cover his speech in Arizona tonight.

It's hard to believe the same guy who declared, "Enough with the damn e-mails!" is now pressing her to "release the transcripts" and engaging in mudslinging-by-association by hitting her on Rahm Emanuel's endorsement.

True colors coming out.

I think you're right. My guess is, he'll drop out once the media moves on nearly completely. Might be another month though. I really don't think he needs to take this to June.
