They're indeed nice, the game doesn't help in that you can't take shots the way you want from interesting scenes though (nothing of camera tooling available, so it's what you can reach using wallhugging), so it's often a shot of a random part of town. Which is nice / ok, but it sadly takes serious effort / luck to make that an interesting shot beyond a nice looking shot (not criticizing Anthemios here at all, the game isn't offering much here). What surprised me about these shots you linked to though is the tremendous amount of views vs. the # of favorites. As if many people viewed the shots but almost none of them liked them... Which is kind of sad, as some of them are really good and tell more than the 'building at street x and y' story.Thx
ReShade was used. But solely to take screenshots. Think I also used .17 or something for sharpening.
I think Anthemios' gallery is the one that deserves 'holy fucking shit' though.![]()

Crazy to think that at one point, Underworld's Lara was one of the highest poly in-game character models.snip

Yeah I know, but that's not what I meant. What you refer to is indeed not productive if you want favorites: if you upload 20 shots in one go, the last couple will likely not be seen by many. But that's the thing here: the shots in that gallery, especially the first dozen, have > 20000 views (!) but < 20 favorites, some < 10. That surprised me a bit, as the shots *are* viewed by a tremendous amount of people. Perhaps visitors from reddit who don't have a flickr account, but it did looked odd, he should have received way more favorites with those kind of view numbers. The thing about views\favorites on Flickr is that the most recent shots tend to get the most love (due to the way your Flickr front page works). Anthemios does not care about any of that and tends to upload in bulk. That is counter-productive on Flickr if you WANT faves... but he doesn't.
Did they change a lot from the beta though in the final game? (besides fixing 'resizing the screen == CTD I reconHis shots are great though, and they were all from the beta! The full game has so many gorgeous areas to take screenshots of but... meh, I can't be bothered. Ubisoft made it always-online which means it's pretty hack proof.
Yeah, it was quite well done at the time, although you could see how they were struggling to reconcile Lara's... unusual proportions with more realistic character rendering. Especially when SHE looks like that and then all the NPCs look like normal humans. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times....
Lol jk
I don't remember that myself, but I could believe that for 2009. Her model is really well defined in a lot of ways. The animation is really nice too actually.

Either way, thank you for the screens - you've kind of made me want to replay it![]()
Christ, the Division looks better than almost anything I've seen on the market if not everything.
