I feel like I have less hair every day

Help me bald-GAF. I never see hair fall out of my head per say, but it just... feels like I have less. I haven't gotten a haircut in months and I feel like I have less hair each day. A few weeks, maybe even days ago I used to be able to comb my hair in front and it would curl like a square shape, but now it's like a triangle. I noticed I essentially have like 2 hairlines now, although the second is usually only noticable in the morning or at the end of the day.

Is this the beginning of the end, gaf?

Man there really are a lot of balding threads. I feel like there was one just a couple of days ago.

OP, relax. You're likely not losing all your hair yet, if you will at all. I understand that hair loss can be a fairly traumatic thing for a lot of men, but it REALLY isn't the end of the world. You'll be fine.

My hair started turning grey and my hairline started receding while I was in college. I finally accepted my fate and started shaving my head around the time I hit 30. I should have done it five years sooner.

I feel ya, OP. I got a new high stress job in November (I love it) and the thinning has quickened significantly.

It's over OP. Not everyone is meant to have beautiful, long flowing hair into their 30s.

I'm so fucking happy I hit the genetic jackpot with my hair. It's still just as beautiful and long as ever

Male pattern baldness here. Noticed as early as 18-19, and its pretty much completely gone now at 25.

The 3 quotes that molded my current view on it:

Dad - "You can use some of that stuff to regrow it, I never had that option. My father had it, so did his. It's in the genes, so i always figured, that's just how i am."

Sister's Friend (a woman)- " Hey, [Light_End]. What's worse. A bald guy? Or a balding guy? Besides, you've got a nice head."

Dad's Bro (bald) - " Just cut it off. It's soooo easssyyy."

Bought clippers, shaved it off. Saves me trips to the barber. Easy to maintain. I still feel like a sexy bitch. (sometimes.)

If you're gonna fight it then fight it, but don't be one of those guys who clings to their baldness, just shave it off, you'll be sexier for it almost 100% of the time.

what do you mean 2 hairlines

it's okay op, just embrace it and shave your head
Like... I have my regular hairline on my left that's a bit bigger than desirable, and there's a huge streak down the right side of my head. It's not noticable after a shower and some coconut oil, and literally everyone I mention me losing hair thinks I'm nuts, but like... the end is nigh :(

I think I could look good with a shaved head, truly. I just need to build some muscle. It can't be that bad :)

What you're talking about is a hair part, not a hairline.

Your hairline is where your hair starts growing horizontally above your forehead.

Edit: misread.

Don't worry it'll stop eventually

You just won't like where it stops and what you have left

At 23 that's rough tho :[

You mite just want to flip baldingness the bird and go the waxed skull route

What's wrong with stuff like Minoxidil?

Or Nioxin?

I use Nioxin because my hair is thin and it seems to work pretty well.

Nothing is wrong with minoxidil, its a proven regrowth agent for lots of people, but it doesnt interfere with DHT which is a large part of MPB. I use a 15% minoxidil 0.1 finasteride 5% AA topical and take generic fin which costs 5 bucks. I started this as soon as I caught a wiff of mpb starting and my hair is the shit now

Make sure you stress and worry about your thinning hair.

But seriously, if it happens then just figure out how to make it work for you and let it. Use products to reduce it if you like, but as far as I know nothing will truly prevent it.

Edit: Also get your hair cut more often. Longer hairs not only can make it more noticeable but I swear it falls out easier than shorter hair.

Edit2:

I'm 37; I have a full head of hair and no greys.

/thread shitting

No greys? That's weak. Grey hair is the best and touches of it makes you look so much better at that age.

Welcome to getting older. I used to have to get haircuts every week and half because my hair grew so quickly. Now I look in the mirror and fret over my thin areas.
