same thing i've got my 5000yen but im waiting for the 3000yen
and in the checkout it said

It also happened to me. Took me about 30 minutes. Then I got my codes, redeemed and bought the game. Its just for verification purposes

He may need to have a CC attached to his MS account, but I am not sure. No reason they wouldn't allow preapproved payment to go through.

On the actual console? You didn't need to change it, but change it back to US whenever.
Xbox.com? Change it after you've bought the game.

Are you trying to buy from the web store or from the Xbox One Store? If its from the web store, try using another browser. I had issues with chrome, but my purchase went smooth while using Microsoft Edge. Dunno why tho

So I used paypal to buy 2 cards from the Microsoft store (3000 & 5000 yen using the address provided several posts up) and got the codes right away. Had the Dark Souls 3 purchase page up in one tab, code redemption page in another. I redeemed both codes and had the 8000 in my account, swapped over to the store front and clicked the green purchase button and it deducted the amount from my 8000 yen balance. Game got! Just turned on my Xbox after it was all said and done and it worked, DS3 is downloading. Pleasantly surprised and thanks to everyone who figured this out and explained the process. I'll keep playing more Salt & Sanctuary while I wait. I usually play all these games on my Playstation, but an exception can be made this time.

I did this exact thing about an hour ago. Told support I was considering getting it on PC for better performance and they refunded it...
It's gonna be awwwwwwkward if they notice that I bought it with Yen 20 minutes after they refunded me
I completed the purchase, but I'm still at work so I haven't gotten to go home and make sure it downloads yet.

I did that, so After I click submit, it will take money from my paypal account??, Do I need to do something specific in Paypal? I open up that paypal account just now and the only thing I have done is add a Credit Card and confirm the Email.
