Doesn't even out all the other times they are wrong.

Tabloid paper known for its outlandish claims. Please. However, now that the accusation is there reputable people will look into it.

Same reporter that broke the John Edwards affair story.

Who would wanna sleep with Ted Cruz :/

Obviously you've got to take any "BREAKING: SCANDAL..." story with a grain of salt until it is verified, no matter the outlet breaking it. But to point to the outlet itself and say "nah bro" on that basis alone is also the wrong way to approach it.

If I were as goofy looking and acting as Ted Cruz, I'd probably struggle with turning away female attention as well.

I'm extremely disappointed none of those pictures are Kim Davis, by the way.

So publish the story after its verified...

He's a high ranking politician. Most of the women rumored to have slept with him also work in the industry. You do the math...

Seriously. I mean, he's got presidential ambitions. Hell, I'd sleep with a person I thought was gonna be president if it meant that now they owed me favors. Shiiit.

I thought trump said he had stuff on his wife not on cruz
Going after his wife forced Cruz to give out soundbites defending his wife and his love of her, a day or two before a cheating scandal errupts. Still looks bad.

He has a matching (fake) tattoo with one of the girls listed. I'm saying "real"

Gonna call bullshit on this...because of the below

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/10/trumps-alliance-with-the-national-enquirer.html

Trump and Enquirer CEO David Pecker have been friends for years. “They’re very close,” said a source close to the Enquirer. In July 2013, Trump even tweeted that Pecker should become CEO of Time magazine, which at the time was being spun off from its corporate parent, Time Warner. “He’d make it exciting and win awards!

Enquirer has been going after Trump rivals since October.

Clinton, Edwards, Weiner don't try to present themselves as family values Americans though. So when they do it, they still get in trouble but don't have (as many) accusations of hypocrisy

Lizardfolk don't marry and have multiple partners so they can more quickly take over the human population. I thought everyone knew this. Ol' Ted hasn't done anything wrong.

That doesn't mean it's not true, that just gives them a possible motive for running it. I have a hard time believing even the Inquirer would risk running a story this big if it was 100% fabricated.

They ran a story saying that Carson left a sponge inside someone's brain.

Other "big stories"

The tabloid has also gone after Hillary Clinton, of course. A series of cover stories has alleged that Clinton is on her deathbed and is “engaging in a massive cover-up about her health.” The Enquirer claims she is suffering from strokes, brain cancer, depression, alcoholism, multiple sclerosis, endometriosis, and paranoia, among other dire conditions.

the Enquirer reported that Jeb Bush was “involved in the drug trade in Florida” in the '80s and that, as governor, he was plagued by “sleazy cheating scandals … [with a] Playboy Bunny turned lawyer.”

Somehow, I don't think people would be giving the Enquirer's cover story on Clinton having every disease under the moon quite as much credence as they want to give this one. We rightfully pile on GOP voters and legislators when they attack Clinton with bullshit reasons - it's pretty damn hypocritical to all of a sudden love the Enquirer and believe it when it goes after Cruz, while not believing it at all when it comes to the people we like.

The rose colored goggles are pretty unbecoming of folks who complain about GOP voters reading only the news sources that tell them what they want to already believe, and then promptly turn around and do it themselves.

well,

even a broken clock is right twice a day

I'm kind of ok with Ted getting blown up and Trump taking the nom, simply because I see Trump as having more difficulty against Hillary than Ted would. Trump is all out shameless comic book villain, while Ted is a little more subtly slimey. Hopefully people will be less likely to fall for Trump, beyond his core voter base.

well,

even a broken clock is right twice a day

Sure, but in this case people are just blindly hoping that this is the 1 in 12 chance that it's accurate.

This article comes from someone who has broken major political scandals before (via NE). Also there were already rumors around Cruz having affairs.

So it's a bit different than Hillary dying or Jeb Bush hanging out in the Play Boy mansion. Which are based on nothing from no-name writers.

Heidi Cruz was once so depressed that she was found by police sitting on the side of a highway with her head in her hands and was possibly a "danger to herself". This supposedly happened, according to the enquirer, right after Ted Cruz messed around with a hot something while he worked as Ted Solicitor General.

It's so funny that the "family values" Republicans seem to be a lot more corrupt and un-Christian than the "godless Liberals".

Because they staunchly adhere to an unrealistic standard and desperately always try to puff themselves as superior even if it means admonishing and oppressing others. They're all about vying for an image of perfection with zero release valve.

These ladies have been sentenced to a fate worse than fucking Ted Cruz - people knowing (or thinking) they've fucked Ted Cruz.
