Question - I have been upgrading my weapon

Dark Knight Greatsword

and have reached a wall. It took Twinkling Titanite until I got the weapon to +4 and is now requiring 1 of a new material. Anyone know what the final material is and where it could be?

Outside of firelink. There's an upper area where you can exit where you'll see a locked door, a ladder you can't reach and that tree.

fight was awesome. The area that boss is found in is instantly one of my favorites in the series. It looks beautiful and it's just gigantic. Looks like it keeps going after this boss as well. This boss fight ran like total ass on Xbox One btw, the worst offender yet by far. Is it bad on PS4?

It's pretty bad when you have the view of the whole area. So far, that whole area until the boss has been the worst in the game framerate-wise on the PS4.

The area after Abyss Watchers has an optional area with a boss. When you're on the rope bridge, run across then cut it. You can use it as a ladder. No idea if this is the one you're missing, but it's worth a try!

Just to make clear for other people, the stairs downward are hidden by an illusion. Hit it like a secret wall, and the stairs will appear. Before that point, it will look like a continuation of the railing.

Dont remember the illusion wall

I have to applaud them for placing an illusion wall in such a perfect area, though. It is the hit every wall method or no cigar here, basically

PvE mages suck dick in this game unfortunately. They didn't design the game around it.

The enemies are extremely aggressive in this game, yet spells still cost a shit ton of STAMINA (which is their way of fixing spells in slow ass games like DkS2). But it doesn't fit this game at all because enemies EASILY avoids your spells, and you can't do shit about it.

How to fix PvE casters in this game, FROM:

- either make spells cost A LOT less stam, or nothing at all
or
- let the character cancel out the spells

Moronic decisions.

My experience with faith has been similar. Spells feel flimsy and weak and cost a ton of mana to cast

The best character seems to just be the beefiest straight up fighter.

That said I've not looked into pyromancy builds yet or bow builds yet. Maybe those are good

King of Storms/Nameless King? This is the first major brick wall boss for me. I just can't avoid the breathing fire straight down attack in phase 1. It's insane. I've only gotten him to phase 2 like 4 out of the 20 attempts I've made. I've resorted to all fire resist gear and just chugging through it. Any tips?

Large chunk. +3/+6 is large shards, they drop all over the place, just go to the highest level area you can think of. Eventually shrine maiden sells them too.
