Thor 2 introduced one of the Infinity Stones(super important for Infinity War)
that alone makes it better than BvS
oh and it had Tom Hiddleston

Batman v Superman is easily better than either Thor movie. But that's an extremely low hurdle to clear.
My theatre went nuts for her. This movie was weird as fuck. Was anybody else just left...dumbfounded? What a weird film. Nobody in the theater popped for Diana either. That was a damn shame. TDKR punch was a nice touch, though.
Same hereMy theatre went nuts for her.
Pretty much, yeah. Lot of mumblings throughout that fight, really. My theatre went nuts for her.
It also has the two best supporting actors of last year, rylance and Hardy, in it.
BvS has higher highs. Thor 2 is less stupid and more coherent. Ultimately though I think I prefer BvS. At least I'll probably remember it a year from now unlike Thor 2.
You misspelled Stallone twice bro

Mine was dead quiet (though GF and I were grinning when she finally showed up in gear). Though some clapped at the end of the movie.
Biggest response was for Spider-Man reveal in Civil War trailer
Both films you mention just flow through the motion without adding much more; BvS just has so much happening, it's exhausting.
But the real question is, is it better than Gods of Egypt? The true test.

I hate scoring shit. It feels so pointless when we compare completely different films with different intents with just numbers, just to try and "rank" what we like.
I enjoy Marvel films because they're a fun ride, most of them are light hearted simplistic, and it's nice to see heroes I enjoyed in comics come to life for 2 hours or so. The connected universe is also fun. Thor 2 though, was about as mediocre and unambitious as you can get for a film in a franchise which is already relatively unambitious once they found the footing for the formula.
Batman v Superman is probably the boldest and more ambitious large scale blockbuster comic movie ever made. It's also deeply flawed, but the movie made me feel something. Which is more than I can say for stuff like Age of Ultron or Spectre.
Agreed with last paragraph. That's the worst offense that some of these big budget movies can make. Being forgettable.
I don't like folks with red names. It reminds me of Modbot who, frankly, is kind of a piece of shit and will kill us all one day before anyone realizes the danger. But you seem okay in your taste. I'll give you that.I hate scoring shit. It feels so pointless when we compare completely different films with different intents with just numbers, just to try and "rank" what we like.

Just some of the dumbest shit. The dream sequences were the worst. Especially the first one. I've never squinted my eyes in a movie before, until I saw a young Bruce ascend from a cave amongst a flock of bats. DianaWhat are you dumbfounded about?
Oh, and did anybody understand/hear what Luthor said at the end of the film? Nobody in the theater was making a sound then, and I still couldn't make out his gibberish.

He knows Darkseid is coming because...Lex Luthor has a jar of piss.
That's the best explanation I can think of as to why he knows that something's coming.

Its sad when the audience go nuts for a character that has literally nothing to do with the main plot. It really shows how weak the plot of this movie is.
Didint saw Age of Ultron yet, so in my action mood after seeing BvS , i just start it on nextflix. And jesus, i am not hook at all by the beginning first action scene. Im not sure i want to continue it. Yop , the ending of BvS is whats make it better.
And Thor 2 is the romantic comedy sequel where the girl and the Norse god of thunder go on a road trip with the mischievous adopted brother for a side splitting good time. Not sure why you guys keep bringing up Thor 1 in a thread for comic book super hero movies.
Thor 1 is a romantic comedy where the girl falls in love with the Norse god of thunder Thor. Not even in the same genre.

Red caped God. Or, because his movies suck, so bring it up as an insult. I guess..Not sure why you guys keep bringing up Thor 1 in a thread for comic book super hero movies.

I would rather watch the two Thor films back to back than watch Man of Steel back to back."I don't get the hate for BvS, it's better than the Thors 1&2"
Lmfao. Like the thor movies were the barometer of what makes a good move. Goddamn

I like the Marvel movies but outside of Cap 2 the actions feels flat compared to DC movies. It was hard for me to go back and watch Avengers and the Thor movies after MoS. I barely enjoyed Ultron and Antman for the same reasons. In MoS and BvS it feels like powerful people are fighting and I don't that satisfaction from Marvel.
Well, yeah. It means that I don't think the movie is very good. But, I feel there are more good qualities in BvS than in Thor and Thor Dark World, but less good qualities than Age of Ultron (which is also a lower tier Marvel film). Of course, this all purely my opinion.Only being better than the low tier of Marvel movies says a lot.
(And I wouldn't even agree BvS is better than Thor 1)

They are much better than the vast majority of bvs and overall better than mos. I'll watch the thor movies over those any day."I don't get the hate for BvS, it's better than the Thors 1&2"

Gods of Egypt is Alex Proyas channeling a Syfy Movie. BvS is Zack Snyder channeling Lars von Trier.
Which thread do I put my thoughts in?
