Alex's theme sounds like some cheap remix. I kept thinking that was just the intro and waited for the actual song to start (Like Fang's theme), NOPE.

It's all subjective. Maybe it'll grow on me. But I listen to the 3rd Strike theme every week.
A bit skittish to go too deep into the trials while the servers are down, but I'm happy they're here. 10 for each character.
I'm disappointed the tutorials aren't interactive, but the beginner one at least is fairly in depth without being too overwhelming. Really keen to get into the character specific ones!

If you care about the costumes easy yes. They're $4/pop, paying the extra buck to get the character (instead of paying 100K FM) is an easy call. They're also tossing in a stage plus you're encouraging more development and such.

Nope, no trophies on PS4 (and with this absolute mess of a rushed patch, I didn't expect it either).
They can add them retroactively later. I remember Naughty Dog completely fucking up my Uncharted 3 completion % by releasing 50 DLC trophies long after many modes were added. It was sad and hilarious.

If you plan on playing this game long term and want the premium costumes, then yeah, get the season pass. Use that fight money to get everything from the season 2 DLC
