SFV: Alex Release Trailer

Is that his music?

What happened to Jazzy NYC? :(

It's not bad, but I think Jazzy NYC whenever I think of Alex.

Hmm...first couple comments are adding some fuel to the fire of "people are going to complain about everything no matter what" argument.

How is this trailer too late when Alex officially came out today? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Hey, at least they remembered to make and release a trailer. It would have been nice they had thrown us a bone and teased the next character.

That's not his theme song. I don't think any of the reveal trailers for characters actually used their theme.

Alex's theme in SF5 is essentially like a remix of his SF3 theme. It's pretty good.

I wonder if every trailer will be shown on the release of each character now. Or maybe Capcom heard the outcry and will start doing it at tournaments.

Goodbye originality of Jazzy Nyc, hello more electric guitar -synth-techno tracks that the SF4 and MvC3 era started.

Man, when they finally do release a trailer to minimal hype, Garrett's fan made one beats it completely.

It's sad that it took Capcom this long to release the trailer, someone fell asleep on the job.

I'll reiterate what everyone has already said, Garret's was better and better timed! It's as if they copied his and tried to make it their own. :)

Um what? I love Garret's work, but it is not cut nearly as well as this trailer. Come on...

It hit the same beats, the same points, had better music (Jazzy NYC) and ended better. =) No, it's not on a professional level but I liked it better. Sorry.

Did Alex received a trailer before this one when he was announced?

If not I think is because other companies releasing other FG make the reveal of their DLC characters like mini-events with trailers to get people hyped and ready to spend their coins in them (or the season pass)

This whole launch period just seems like this was super rushed.

  • Decrepit Prologue Story Mode
  • No Arcade Mode
  • No Versus CPU in 2/3
  • Still no DLC store
  • Finally fixed Chun P2 boob physics, but the fix was pretty halfassed
  • 3 betas and matchmaking still takes too long. Pokken, in comparison takes seconds.
  • Still no daily challenges
  • Horrible Survival Mode as the only way to earn colors without paying
I love the game, which I why I give it shit. Capcom did a massive disservice to it.

Chances are, no matter what Capcom would have put out at this point, you would not have liked it, but not because what it contained, but because SF-OT is soured by Capcom by now, regarding this Alex trailer.

Yeah Garret's had the whole package. What I liked in his trailer the most was how it started, the little jumps in sync with the music was hot damn. Wish everything was in sync but it would be hard and time consuming I guess.

Who's next in the list? Out of the announced season 1 characters Juri, Ibuki, and Urien are the only ones who really interest me.

Well...yeah, he was following the template Capcom has done for every reveal. Garrett did an amazing job replicating what Capcom has done before. That was the point.

Think I'm out of these threads. People are complaining just to complain at this point.
