Wonder what black panthers fighting style will be. Seems like all he does in these brief glimpses is scratch fu but I hope he busts out some good acrobatics and martial arts

Dayum. I'm super curious at this point how they'll explain T'Challa's powers for the MCU. And what exactly they are, for that matter.

But you have already seen it in the trailers. You can see how his movement is completely different to any of the other characters, down to his running. He did the flying kick on Winter Soldier, and jumped at his motorcycle. He is rawr, meow!

Why do Marvel films look like a TV show? I'm not actually criticising it, but there is an immediate difference in the aesthetics of these films compared to what WB tends to do. Is it a preference by the directors? Lens? Or Marvel Studios making that decision?

All of the DC movies are at night time with colour saturation turned way down. The Marvel movies tend to be more colourful and have all their big scenes in daylight. Maybe it's that?

It'll be interesting to see what Wonder Woman looks like.
Not just Nolan, Batman scenes from all the Batman movies basically happen at night or indoors. It makes sense, he's the dark knight. It just tends to make things a bit harder to see and less colourful.

What is wrong with semi magical herbs?
Marvels cinematography and special effects are not as good and dynamic as DC movies; but it's a result of who they hire and the budget given to them.
I think the tone is intentional and the colors definitely appeal more to the mainstream audience and kids. The first Captain America movie was slightly different in tone. Also definitely feels like Marvel movies are made with heavy consideration to sell merchandise/toys later on.

Gonna be very interesting to see how people respond to Civil War. How creepy and authoritarian will they allow the pro-registration side to get. Are they gonna make Iron Man an asshole again? How much is it going to remind people of the real world political divide in America, and how much is it possibly going to piss people off? Are they going to try and portray both sides as sympathetic?
I read a comment somewhere speculating that the airport fight that we've seen throughout the trailers isn't actually the conclusion, and possibly only the end of the second act -- is it likely we haven't seen anything of the actual third act, or at least very little of it? Any credence to this theory?
Baron Zemo is somewhere on the movie and that will probably be the conclusion. So yeah.

No, I'm just wondering if they'll go with that or think of something that "fits" the somewhat more realistic MCU better, so far they've been trying to focus on the more scienc-y stuff, even with Thor. Then again, Dr. Strange.
1. Daytime scenes - Anything looks great shot at night time especially explosions. But Marvel films tend to shoot the majority of their fight scenes during day time, likely because they are aware that it's easier to follow action scenes in broad daylight (especially for children) and even more likely, to keep the actors happy by limiting their night scenes. With the amount of actors they have to juggle, the last thing they want is the actors being unhappy and start sulking and getting pissy due to long/crazy working hours.
2. Consistency - having N-th number of movies connected to one another means that there's a need for all of the connected worlds to have similar tone. Unfortunately due to point #1, then it means a lot of their films will have to continue having the bright, sunny day look and avoiding filter lens and other interesting film technique unless the situation calls for it. They seem to have ditched this in AoU (especially during the Taiwanese and Sokovia scenes) probably because Joss was conscious of the criticism of his cinematography. GotG, which doesn't need to confirm to the world's rule also doesn't have this issue.
3. Design decision - Marvel films have this tendency to mimic real world aesthetics a bit too closely. The majority of their special FX have been used to basically blend-in their CG objects to RL background or mimic real world buildings/constructions instead of making their own unique-looking landmark or landscape. I think this works during the early days of their films like Iron Man 1 when there was a need for realistic world base but it does limit the scope a bit as the films get more and more supernatural and out-of-this world. I'd say this is the same problem that is shared by Nolan's films because he also tried too make the setting 'realistic'. Thankfully Batman films tend to shoot at night time but the cinematography still suffers as well due to the realistic tone of the film.
