Yo, that actually looks decent. I'm curious if Batman will be murder psycho Batman ala BvS in this or actual hero Batman. I saw the Batmobile in the trailer and immediately face palmed as I thought back to BvS. However, if he's saving Harley at some point in the movie that would paint him as entirely different from BvS Batamn who would let that bitch die in a heartbeat.
Psycho Batman was likely a one movie deal. That's where he is during BvS before he reverts back by the end.

I thought this movie was supposed to be dark, violent, and gritty. What happened to that film? Is that
Nolan Batman or the Baffleck
in this trailer?

Affleck. And you thought wrong haha. It's dark, but fun dark. I mean, it's a Suicide Squad adaptation.

Why on earth would it be Baleman? It's Battfleck.

This movie can be dark, violent, gritty, AND funny. These are not contradictory ideas here. Slipknot probably gets his head blown off like 15 seconds tops after that bit with him. Still funny.

Best case scenario for me is if those events i.e. murders are never mentioned and Batman acts as though he retains his "no kill" rule for all future movies.
I mean, if you're going technical he didn't really kill anyone on BvS. Reaaaaally technical. The bad guys kinda killed themselves.
Except maybe the guy crushed by the car.

He straight chaingunned people with the Batmobile, and killed the guy to save Martha. Oh yea, he also bombed dudes outside of the warehouse with the Batplane.

that was a dope trailer except for Jared Leto Joker, who seems to be created to entice all the "edgy" "damaged" 15-year olds out there.

i'm none of those anymore breh. translating the joker to some marilyn manson/vato/21st century rapper actually...makes sense.

this dork puts clown makeup on his face to maintain his image. lets not act like tattoos and castor troy/faceoff silk shirts are so far removed. i could do without that forehead tattoo though, that's unforgivable haha

You give Snyder too much credit, those action scenes exist in their own world.

He shot the vehicles, not the actual people. Also, the flame thrower dude, he didn't shoot. He shot the tank and it only exploded once the guy pulled the trigger. If the guy didn't use the device and just gave up, he would've been fine. I know it's all kinda wishy washy, but that's technically what happened.

Man they threw a lot of stuff into that trailer, but it somehow works, if I wasn't already sold before then I would have been.

What about
all the people in the cars that exploded when he shot them?
Gotta rewatch it more closely. I was under the impression the cars exploded when they crashed into things.

He straight chaingunned people with the Batmobile, and killed the guy to save Martha.
Yeah that chase was a mess (in character terms, visually it was fine).
However, about KGBeast..
He really didn't kill the guy, he shot for the gas tank and THEN the guy fired the flamethrower, killing himself.. or maybe not killing himself, because as you know, the KGBeast is supossed to have a fullbody suit, maybe it's a Crossbones case.

The scene in BvS when he
confronts Lex at the end and didn't brand him made it obvious that he changed after Superman's sacrifice. Early movie Batman would've branded the fuck out of Lex.
. The movie sucked, but I liked that scene. It was subtle and tells the audience where Batman stood at the end of the movie.

I know it's hard to believe, but Fantastic 4 didn't debut on Netflix.

That one is 2015 :P
Oh shit, you're right.

Man, that film was so bad that I legit forgot that it came out like 10 months ago. The DVD/Blu Ray release seriously came out undetected.

WOW. That was a fucking sweet trailer. Joker not looking bad at all, and some cool Batman looking shit in there. Looks like there may be a Joker origin in there or some nightmare of Batman.

That'll probably be the case. Batman doesn't straight up murder anyone in BvS to the point that it needs to be addressed. They're like Batman 89 and Nolanverse kills, just more vicious.

Maaaaan, can we talk about BvS in one of the 1231081 BvS threads?

Boomer looks like SUCH A DICK in this. Like every moment has him being some variety of asshole. It's great.

Also, from the previous trailer, he apparently gets shipped to Belle Reve from Australia in a mail sack. So that's fun.

Guys, Batman didn't kill anyone in BvS. Bullets and the Batmobile killed those people.

He's being true to character.

Haha seriously?
Batman was straight up murdering people in the Batmobile, no fucks given. I started laughing in the theater, Snyder completely fucked up the character, he never did shit like that in the comics until DKR where he really was at the end of his rope.

The only Nolanverse kills I can think of are in the temple in Batman Begins, before he was actually Batman. In BvS he directly targets them with the Batmobile chaingun, and the flamethrower dude was a blatant kill.
