doesn't she need to be unstable in order for her to even contend w/ him, in which case she would be a threat to everyone and defeat her purpose as a 'weapon to handle Supes' >_>

Thus the bomb in the neck, lol. She's been on the Squad before, basic procedure is to try and employ enough leverage (and therapy for June) to keep Enchantress in check and useful.

It doesn't always work out that way, mind. But that's the idea.

the only thing I'm a little concerned about is Rick Flagg, after Joel Kinnamin stunk up the latest season of House of Cards. Hopefully this is a role like Robocop or Run All Night which doesn't require much acting range from him. Going from Hardy to him was a mega downgrade though.

In all fairness, it's not like he was the only thing in HoC's newest season stinking things up :P

acting wise he stood alone. For the most part it's a well acted show.

Where is Harley's accent?

It's there in the trailer. The vexing part you can hear it clearly. You won't be hearing an copy of Arleen Sorkin or Tara Strong versions though. So anyone looking for that will be disappointed. That doesn't mean there isn't an accent. You just won't getting those versions. Which is a good thing. This is Robbie's version.

a role like rick flagg is beneath hardy.

he'd have been a good captain boomerang (but nah, he'd be stealing too many Aussie roles then at that point lol)

I don't expect the movie to be super amazing or anything but it looks like I'll be sufficiently entertained, which is about what I expect from a new-age superhero flick

That last joke was so damn good.

Whoever said that BS about reshoots for inserting new comedy needs to step up and explain himself.

Went back and watched that part, I don't hear anything

fuck me, this still looks sooooo good

either WB has the best trailer editors in the world or this is gonna be one hell of a ride

Water! Heh, loved that.

It looks good, real good, the problem with the DC movies is they take themselves a bit too serious, dial it down and you get something that looks like this. Can be more mature in tone but without too much gloom. You want people to enjoy it after all.

And we are so going to get a Harley movie.

I think it originally meant all of the movies would follow a central theme and vibe, but now that BvS is tanking hard critically and financially following opening weekend, it probably means little going forward past Justice League. They're already spending tens of millions reshooting Suicide Squad to make it less depressing and esoteric. I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens to Wonder Woman, and if the Flash film turns out to be as jovial as the happiest portions of a good Spider-Man film.

Uh, wasn't that confirmed to be false? The guy who said that said SS blew all of its jokes in that one trailer, and yet there were half a dozen new ones in this trailer.

I would of been fine with a more serious cinematic universe if it had been executed well. Problem was it wasn't.

But the tone of this film seems perfect. I hope if successful they take lessons from this and make this the default tone of the universe and play off it in either direction.

Yeah, she doesn't have one that I can hear either. However, in some on set spy footage from a year or so ago, you can clearly hear Margot have an accent as Harleen when confronting the Joker in his car. She yells, "GET OUTTA THA CAH" at him. It was from far away, but is sure sounded like her Jersey accent.

BvS totally deflated my hype. This universe entirely is a definite hard sell for me due to the heroes identities being known by a main villain.

Will take a wait and see approach going forward.

We all really need this to be good.

Unless the trailers have been lying, this has the tone some have been begging for and the the writing looks like it might be there this time.

Certainly inspires more confidence than BvS did at this point (Trailer 2).

That's a much, much better than the last one. Good riddance to that terrible Queen song.

Leto and Batfleck are getting me hyped as fuck. Also good to see Will be...more "Will" compared to the older footage we've seen.

I'm officially on board the hype train for this.
