He shot the vehicles, not the actual people. Also, the flame thrower dude, he didn't shoot. He shot the tank and it only exploded once the guy pulled the trigger. If the guy didn't use the device and just gave up, he would've been fine. I know it's all kinda wishy washy, but that's technically what happened.

There were people in the backs of those trucks and inside the cars outside of the warehouse. And he shot into the van(s) he was following with a chain gun. Whether any of them exploded right then or by the actions of someone within it several seconds later is in my opinion irrelevant. He caused all those deaths. Also, just saying, I was fine with it. Fuck those slavers and murderers.

You know one of the things I have to remind myself about BvS is that the people Batman murders aren't actual bad guys,
they're just security personnel hired by LexCorp to transport their legally authorized transfer of government property for research purposes.

Collateral damage and fine for who and what he had become.

Fuck bvs that movie can stay in a shithole. Anyone know who they're fighting in this? Is it that thing in the train?

batman killed a lot of people in BvS. it's a point the film explicitly makes that it's the lowest point he'll likely ever be in this film universe

lets not tiptoe around it. he was a dick, alfred wasn't really fucking with it either. he'll likely be more like the bruce in the opening of the film for the rest of these films from here on out.

Snyder is not involved, right? So this could actually be good? Because it sure looks like fun.

I hope in their desperate hour WB drops Snyder off of Justice League and, assuming suicide squad is successful swap directors. Tap Snyder to do a Simarlion adaptation; we need bat shit insane biblical epic Lord of the Rings and he's the hero we deserve.

Margot Robbie is looking to be a great Harley. Her performance reminds me of Jaime Pressly's role as Joy in My Name Is Earl. Jaime Pressly could have been a great Harley about 10 years ago.

I hope WB don't fuck this up by showing too much in the trailer. I feel like this trailer gave out 3 or 4 jokes already.

You're not supposed to like Batman or even take his side in that film. That some did was a result of that film's execution failures.

no doubt. an interesting idea that was poorly executed. well that and also superman was just really uninteresting in here. i wanted more bruce whenever superman/clark was on screen.

Looks fun! Who is this guy on the right, btw?

Scott Eastwood,

Believe.

Glad they got those reshoots done in time to add some more humor. That would have been embarrassing to use up all their jokes after the debacle that is BvS.

So Will Smith is basically Will Smith in this?

Looks good to me. Hope it gets Deadpool legs and beats Batman vs Superman.
Will Smith being will Smith is best will Smith.

Watched the trailer with no sound (at work) but that's really good to hear. I hate the other will smiths!

The Silmarillion would cost billions of dollars to make. It'll never happen. Jackson was the only guy who could even pull it off, but after The Hobbit I have no doubt his soul has been snatched and he won't touch Tolkein again.

The opening scene with his parents death and the destruction in Metropolis from his point of view tell me you ARE supposed to take his side.

He saves a little girl for being crushed ffs.

Cool Katana's a girl I wonder if she has a boy that she likes that's the first thing that came to my head

Oh Harley Quinn's hot, can't wait to see the rest of SS get dressed while everyone takes time to ogle him during their introductions too. Especially Killer Croc. It'll be cool to give everyone their Megan Fox Transformers moment and not just the hot chick

The more upbeat indie glam rock songs attached to out of context action scenes in the trailer, the better this looks! Can't wait for those music selections to show up in the film too and not just the marketing for what is sure to be a fun fun well-written romp
Katana's only true love is her dead husband who's soul is in her sword. In the comics she talks to it and you don't know if the sword is really magical or she's just crazy.

yeah but then you get 18 months later and he's branding people and literally ready to KILL superman.

and fwiw Snyder pitched this film's Batman as "being on the verge of moral bankruptcy" to Affleck. he was always gonna be a murderous anti-hero in this one. they didn't sell the switch from good bruce to questionable bruce well at all in here though. he changed after that metropolis scene but we don't get why.

I really hope this movie does well both critically and commercially, and WB drives a boot up Hack Snyder's ass and hands JL over to Ayer.

Theeeeeeeeeeeere you go.

For fucks sake, its OKAY to have your audience ENJOY your movie. Give us a few fist pumping moments of excitement for fucks sake and quit with the badly executed dreary nonsense.

Movie is going to be fucking great, and will make a fuckload of money.

God I just hate this Harley Quinn from what they've shown, from her colour scheme to most of her lines I'm just....not feeling her. Rest of the movie looks pretty good tho honestly

All three trailers for this have looked killer. Really hoping this one sticks the landing because everything has looked great so far.

I enjoyed the fuck out of BvS, four times. Get over yourself.

He straight chaingunned people with the Batmobile, and killed the guy to save Martha. Oh yea, he also bombed dudes outside of the warehouse with the Batplane.

Whether or not he kills people is irrelevant, Every live action Batman kills people except Clooney. Keaton grins while doing, Val Kilmer had the most a righteous kill in a Batman movie. Bale Batman is so utterly delusional in his No Kill rule, he doesn't realize he's killed people.

They also don't make you want to root for Clark anymore though, as well.

Whenever he saves anyone he looks like it's such a burden and they cut out scenes that would have established why Clark would have investigated Batman and wanted to stop him. As it is, we barely get Clark's POV of why Batman is wrong, but we get plenty of Bruce ranting about how terrible Superman is. Alfred is hardly the audience surrogate questioning his motives, he simply gives Bruce more space to explain himself.

The fact that people love Batman despite his murderous turn and hate Superman shows how much the film failed to make Bats wrong, or at least make both sides understandable.
